  • Arent those shells very hot when you take em out by hand like that??

  • made in italy i assume?, the name pedersoli lol

  • we dont want targets being hit. we came to see the gun being fired.

  • Very nice gun, and very nice video.

  • Interesting on the rapid-fire. The ejection is not total and it seems to be harder to arrow the round into the breech than maybe for Springfield 1873 that could drop into cup then just slide forwards.

  • work just fine against indians too(true story)

  • I think that's the point -- he's demonstrating the typical rate of fire with this rifle. Not very fast, you say, but actually way faster than the muzzleloaders it replaced. Put it in historical perspective, it's was a remarkable advancement.

  • It's Pedersoli, not "Petracelli !!!!!!" Learn to read, fella!!!!!

  • such a beautiful gun!

  • Rapid**

  • No offence but this rifle has the most unimpressive repaid fire ever lol

  • wow what a amazing gun i love it when my two favorite things come together history and guns

  • Reproduction Remington Rolling (block) Rifle Review? RRRRRRR.....

  • where do they sell them web sight ????????

  • @cookervillpop101 just search pedersoli rifles and it will come up

  • Thanks for the video upload! I am getting a 1902 model tomorrow, just the action and stocking material. I plan on barreling it for 40-65 Winchester. Your video is an inspiration. Thanks!

  • stupid cowboy

  • do you know guys, the older rolling block rifle had n' t a scope on it!

there was a narrow barrel mounted on the rifle!

it was to focus to better hitting.

  • Excellent video, you're very informative! I've just bought an original (1869) rolling block rifle and it's a rather nice piece of kit... I still can't fire it though down to British gun laws

  • ... I like the rifle... However, I like that farm-land even more! Beautiful stand of corn... even the grasses say the ground is good.

  • To me, it just isn't right unless there is a charge of black powder behind the bullet. Great video!

  • My grandma just showed me that we have one of these. It is not a replica, and I will say your gun looks exactly (a little less rusty though) like mine. Although, is your a millitary or a civilian model? Mine has metal at the tip of the wood and a plate on the end of the stock.

  • Good video, but watch that trigger finger!

  • Nice Rifle. Them Rolling Blocks are interesting. That's a big bullet, by the way. Might wanna show some respect!

  • ...shutup you guys....it's what his mom put on him today, and we gotta respect that

  • If I was forced to wear that shirt, I'd probably turn the gun on my self....

  • Need one, lol

  • nice bib...

  • thats a nice rifle wouldn't mind firing it.

  • That's some fine looking corn Rowdy, makes me a little homesick.

  • black powder substitute may be cleaner.. and modern, but it doesnt perform as well as real black powder does... also you lose out on the feel of it when you lose the typical cloud of smoke seen with these rifles

  • id probably hesitate to wear that shirt in public though

  • @megadeth22885 he probably only wears it in these videos and in recreation battles if he goes to them

  • @megadeth22885 It's a nice shirt. Nice hat too. Why should people all dress alike?

  • i'm guessing that when the hammer drops it locks the breech, am i right if not tell me because it looks pretty interesting

  • @ak47proshooter yeah when the hammer drops it locks the breech

  • Excellent video, easy to watch, and informative. Everything in your presentation was about the rifle or ammo; none of this self-serving nonsense that bores us on so many other videos. Please make more!

  • do you know the treuille de beaullieux carbine ( mousquetton treuille de beaulieux ) ?

verry interresant french rifle who use down block

verry similar syystem of the reminghton RB

  • What caliber is it...?? The most known here in Denmark is the 11.6x40, but still it is almost impossible to get by.... Can you still order that caliber in the US....?? Great video and great gun....!!!! ;-)

  • I am 13 and am getting a uberti hunter rolling block should i get it in 30 30 or 45/70.

  • I'm 16 and I really love my 45/70 Rolling Block! I think a 30-30 Would do good for Deer but Nothing bigger!

  • That configuration makes more sense than a single-shot bolt action.

  • beautiful

  • I'm so envious that I cant come and spend some time shooting with you,it would make for a really good time, obviously a man who loves his guns,America and the civil war.I do love that period rifle,it makes me sick that its almost impossible to shoot in the UK now, mainly due to the stupidity of others who cant control themselves. We cant even buy replicas anymore, all mail order has been banned (2004) all because of city idiots.

  • Thank You for the kind words . If you ever make it to Kentucky stop in for a while .

  • If I ever got to Kentucky I would definately frop in,thanks for the offer!

  • @rowdyfulcher where do you live in kentucky? i live in madisonville.

  • @silver760

Why don't you join a shooting club? I'm in the UK and I manage to get plenty of shooting in. Gonna buy an enfield .577 soon.

  • What a beauty!!

  • I just bought one of these at Cabelas. It came with the Creedmore rear sight and a globe front sight.

  • Dang good shooting!

    Nice video as well
