  • Well, the sad fact is, black pride does exist, and I, if you'll permit me to say, so whole-heartedly proclaim that I can understand why it exists as a white male. Insofar as feminist pride exists, it's all about being subjugated. "White" people don't have the same history of subjugation, but I say fuck "racial" and "sexual" and "national" divides; we're all human beings! I love you whoever you are, so long as you can love me. That's the platinum rule.

  • Parabéns :-) É assim que eu penso. Fique bem.

  • the absolute worst thing is when someone from "your culture" befriends you based on the fact that you are the "same culture" as them.

  • nigger

  • Nothing anyone accomplishes is truly on their own -- if you excel in school it's because someone made that knowledge available to you, if you invent something, it's based on knowledge and creations already in existence. Pride is a one of the tools of separation and separation fractures what makes human beings great.

  • Spot on bro, I do think though being "proud" probably was important in the past - say where someone would try to make groups feel ASHAMED of who they are. Persecution and so forth. You;re right though, in current times where we are stronger and without such attitudes being acceptable, merely being proud of something that has little to do with any achievement is a bit misplaced..........

  • Man, if only everyone held this dude's point of view ... .

  • Uncle Tom to the fullest!!!!!!!!

  • @sambam2694 Not simply by stating facts he's not.

  • well said mate

  • That was stupidist fucking understanding of what "Black Pride" or any pride for that manner actuallt means. People are proud of the fact that that they are still around after countless well documented attempts of their demise. They are proud of the accomplishment despite the overt attempt to deny life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Wow, really?

  • @kwameamensah357 I agree with this I'm proud to be white I wouldn't want to be anything but white and I will marry a white. People confuse pride with hate because they are ignorant. Without pride everyone would be the same and nobody really wants that.

  • @Luigi84289 Pride= Self-indentity insurance policy. Am I REAL ? Am I "ME" ? Who AM " I " ? Um if ya need it THAT bad, whew, go on an' get it.

    LMAO.

  • Why can't you be proud of what you are? Is there a rule or even logic supporting your position? Nope. I am a white Texan and you better believe that I am proud of my history and heritage.

  • @Plato86 If you are proud of your history, then you are proud of killing natives. See the logic?

  • I am not particularly proud of that part but that does not mean I dismiss the rest of the accomplishments of my ancestors. By your logic a person should not be proud of their own achievements since they also failed several times in their lives. People are not perfect, that does not mean we overlook the good they do because they make mistakes.

  • @Plato86 That wasn't just a mistake, it was pure evil.

  • It was also simply the way things were done back then. All interaction between Europeans and non- Europeans was predicated on the belief that the former was superior to the latter and thus that the latter had no rights at all.

  • @Sood81 Maybe he's of Ukrainian descent, or Russian descent, or Greek descent, or Irish descent, or Scottish descent, or Icelandic descent, or Finnish descent, or Norwegian descent, or Belarusian descent, or Romanian descent, or Polish descent, or Lithuanian descent etc etc... those peoples never killed the Natives.

  • NIGGERS MUST DIE FAG LULZ GO PRAY TO OBAMA

  • I like this video. The idea of being a proud white person seems so alien to me. What a silly thing to be proud of. To all the black pride/white pride/yellow pride people - If you want to be proud of other's accomplishments, can't you just be proud of the human race? You are one of us, aren't you? So silly.

  • @Yalf111 Its about identity, ones people AND seeing what you accomplish comes secondary. Identity is the main thing and I see you're just an ignorant anti racist lemming.

  • @Gi0vanniTheGreat Do you think dogs worry about identity? They are all different colours and sizes.. S does a labrador identify with being a labrador? Or does it just think it's a dog, and that any creature who exhibits the right 'pack traits' is down with them?

There are billions of galaxies, trillions of planets. Our existence, Earth's existence, is very fragile at best. This compulsion to divide and mistrust everybody else is going to get us killed. 'Pale Blue Dot'.

  • @Yalf111 Division amongst ones own will get them killed. If division really means being divided from negros, hispanics and anyone else then I like division TY very much.

  • blacks are ugly gross and can only survive through the governments help

  • @warp10123 trolololol go away

  • almost took you serious but that damn love boat silk shirt threw me off

  • damn

  • exactly, black pride is just as lame as white pride.

  • i think you are trying to reinvent the wheel here you make a point that probably feeds your own ego being a white boy or house negro

  • haha, you niggers, i buy and sel lyour kind every day at niggermart, stop on by and find your self a good nigger,,, haha, yeah right, "good nigger" hahaha

  • @NiggerMart umadbro?

  • @xKidFuturex no, im gayer than a canarie bro

  • @NiggerMart thats pretty gay bro

  • Black pride.

  • Great video and great point. I also believe that one can't take pride in something he/she had nothing to do with.

  • Great points...and its the same with raw intelligence.

  • dude you should have been in nam.... ALOT harder than you bitching on youtube... grow some balls and get a job! and we didnt suck cock like you do.

  • @CaterpillerFreak123, there are many gay resources online. You should check them out. I know that you don't want to admit it openly, but I thought that I'd help you come out of the closet. There is nothing wrong with you being gay. You are who you are--gay. Hold your head up high; from this day forward, you should embrace your sexuality. You should seek out gay resources online; you'll be much happier once you acknowledge openly that you are indeed gay. Gay isn't a bad thing.

  • 178 people were too proud of themselves

  • 178 people were too proud of themselves

  • That's why mlk Jr was WRONG

  • There are so many black rappers and famous people. Oprah Winfrey is famous!!!

I went to America, and the black people especially were really nice! I loved them, honestly I felt like I was in the arms of my mother when I was with them. *Blushes*

  • @jesuishillary could you ask those niggers you hang with why they use "shorts" that almost reach the ankles? Were those donations to the zoo where they were raised?

  • Why do you feel that way? I feel proud to be white! You need to be proud of your heritage! Did you grow up in a white neighborhood you sound very educated.

  • I respect your argument, but I disagree slightly. Specifically, the premise that we should only be proud of things we have done, and not of anything we are. When people are shamed for who they are, that makes people defensive about that aspect of themselves. They have been harmed, and they need to heal that wound. People need to accept themselves, and are entitled to some recognition by others, because they are a unique and valuable human beings. That's not a privilege to be earned.

  • Everyone is black so shouldn't everyone be prideful for being black according to some of you people?

  • This is a gross misunderstand of 'black pride' and conversely any other type of ethnic pride. Black pride is simply a response to the idea that has been fed to blacks for 400 years in this country, that they are inferior, discriminated and must be subservient. It's a thing odious thing to want to take that away from them based on this fabricated notion that we are all equal even today.

  • I thought Usa had a history between 229 -234 years.

  • @cannedkitty Blacks are not discriminated against today. Deal with it, and stop whining.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise What fairy land do you live in

  • @sambam2694 Planet Earth... come join me, won't you...

  • So I just want to counter some "points" you made. First your interpretation of pride is NOT the definition of it. Pride is: "A high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, ect". Pride has NOTHING to do with achievements. Pride is an emotion, period. do i need a reason to feel sad in order to feel sad? Emotions dont have to be justified. I can taked pride in myself b/c i think im awesome.

  • Sir as a black man I could not agree more. Pride is the whole reason there are inequalities between people in the first place. Frivolous and self hindering to say the least. Black pride would not be needed if there weren't so many people with opposing pride issues. I am just a man and trying to live the best way I know how. All the extra titles and delusions of being special are simply that. Delusions.

  • somalian people stink of sweat

  • Blablabla. That PRIDE that you say people should not have is the MOTOR of social evolution. Without gay pride we would not have the whole social rights they have today. The same goes to black pride. If your social group or race for instance is not accepted or is treated the same way as the so called "majority". Pride is there to confront the society and make people accept changes and tolerate differences. You can make your Youtube video because once there were some Pride Black American citizens.

  • @apmotion Thank you.

  • god damn niggers!

  • good points but there ppl proud to be their race in almost any race theres a lot of that all over the world and even ppl proud to be gay hence the gay pride parade which is like a dbl negative, since they homosexuality is a sin but to each is own i guess.

  • Even though I disagree with some points, this is a good video._.;

  • only self-hating black traitors lack black pride. They should self- euthanize.

  • @MassiveFaith Since when are people born obligated to people who, by chance, share ancestry?

  • @HybridD91 If you don't understand, you will never understand. It's quite elementary actually.

  • @proteanview I never thought of it like that.

  • Didn't George Carlin have a skit about this? I definitely agree with you.

  • I don't think it matters what you are proud of, "Pride" is a tool to gain standing amoung your fellow humans but I agree with Proteanw's thinking. Being proud of something you have achived is more humble and makes you more free then being proud of something you was born into. What you achive is also connected to what you was born into, if Proteanw. wasn't born with his grandmother he would probably not put as much weight to his conclusions as he do here.

  • Thank you! I'm black and a woman, but pride should be had in your accomplishments. Not silly things that you can't control or had no decision in.

  • @gir908922

Your parents or genes that shape you, you never had anything to do with. They made you achieve what you achive.., I don't disagree with that it isn't a good mindset but it's also a bit deceiving. A fair amount of pride for stuff like the way you look is ok, unless it distance yourself from people that are not like you.

  • I love all races of people, I dislike Effed up mentality's and mindsets. Whites and Blacks are color struck.

  • P.S Faggot

  • @sambam2694 you're a black and proud faggot? Cool, dude. lol.

  • @votumseparatum1 Haha fuck you.

  • Im black and im proud

  • omg, shoot yourself

  • I am not proud to be white. I am proud of being myself not what the color of my skin is. My skin color does not define who I am. What defines me as me is how I act.

  • Pride is detrimental to society, and humanity entirely. Why be proud of something deemed arbitrary? Dark Eyes? Dark Skin? Homosexuality? Do you realize that most white men or heterosexuals aren't running down the streets shouting HETEROSEXUAL PRIDE, or WHITE PRIDE anymore? We just let it be a long time ago, and the ones that take pride are the ones that are a problem in this society. Hence why they invade the political sphere to force society to cater to their every whim, and offer pitty.

  • But white pride doesnt exist even more

  • @magiksity I hope you're right but i see the constant move towards the Far Right in Europe and sense a gathering of paranoid views, anger etc. Similar to many Black folk as well.(consider flipgood89) It has just occurred to many white folk that they are, indeed, a minority with 75% of the Planet being ethnic.

It has been going on for decades.

  • @taildragger53 Thanks for reply,I WANNA SEE MORE BLACKS LIKE YOU

  • @magiksity Well, it's just my opinion and many thanks for your message. Personally i've seen that pride breeds gargantuan ego which in turn breeds a notion of fake superiority which in turn leads to WAR. Religion plays its part, because it's largely nationalistic.

What i know is when an artist is TRULY CREATING he FIRST has to remove the EGO to go deep within.

Most great Jazz musicians say this. Ego BLOCKS!

So if one reverses that procedure we can assume that EGO only DESTROYS.

  • @taildragger53 BUT the sad thing is , as humans, we need CONSTANT validation. All the time we need to know we are in control that we ARE the best.. EVERY nationality does this, not just black people. Basic Nationalism.

We look for constant identity validation..people who PRAISE us.

If we don't receive praise we MAKE UP our own needs for validation.

We choose intellectuality and ego over OUR REAL SELF which is connected to feelings rather than thoughts.

  • @magiksity What i've seen in the UK has been, because of the decades of muliti-culturalism and interracial co-habitation, the notion of white pride DID lessen.

It became a "melting pot" scenario..BUT Islamophobia & 7/7 has suddenly made people conscious, once again, of their race.

Bigots like Pat Condell are creating a "them & us" platform and his popularity is surging amongst Neo-Nazis.

More people in the UK are flying the Union Jack & St George Cross than ever before.

  • @TheRealMidori ...what would you call racists?

  • @flipgood89 Racism is born from fear & ignorance. Back in the early days racism was used on people who were racially different to "control them". Make sure they didn't get "uppity".Not just with blacks, also in India for 400 yrs- Also what was feared (most of all ) was the idea of interracial cohabitation (marriage etc).

But TODAY racism is a very complex thing. It crosses boundaries.Chinese hate blacks, blacks hate indians,Mexican hate blacks, whites hate 'em ALL.

  • @TheRealMidori You are absolutely right. I was thinking the same. The type of idealogy and suppressed anger with mr "flipgood89" can lead to severe psychological problems. We can't go around thinking "race" all the time.

Jesus, that's what Pat Condell does and look at HIM.

  • @TheRealMidori ....Black pride was not constructed with an eye towards claiming or asserting superiority...Thats crazy.. It was a response to the dominant group positioning ALL Blacks as inferior, and designing laws and social implications to enforce that inferiority. Are you really this ahistorical? Serious question. And are you really this blind to the social constructs that racists use as weapons against YOU to this day to deny your humanity and mental well being????....

  • @TheRealMidori ....This "argument", as you deemed it, is anything but silly. Wake up...

  • @flipgood89 There is NO argument. You're flogging a dead horse and proving that PRIDE just leads to psychological confusion. The 'argument' is like a one man party going on in just your head..but you're projecting anger from it and looking to pick fights with Midori.

You're not actually doing yourself, black people or the cause for "pride" any favours.

Take it up with this handsome guy called 'proteanview'.

  • @TheRealMidori m challenging you, not insulting. Somebody as learned as you claim to be should know the difference. It seems that you are frustrated by the fact that your own illogical words are backing you into a corner. Listen, here's the deal...Nobody asked to be Black. You're not special. Nobody asked to be brutalized and told they're subhuman just because of the color of their skin....Black people responded to the dominant groups assertion that We were inferior and worthy...

  • @TheRealMidori ...(cont) of oppression and discrimination. Its clear by your videos that you are obsessed with apologizing to white supremacists and appealing to their sensibilities, the reasons of which I dont know --- but here's what I do know. Not only are your claims to not have pride in your race a slap in the face to those who died and endured FOR YOU.....its also a slap in the face to basic humanity and common decency. MLK didnt ask to be Black....Your moral compass is askew, dude.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRealMidori ....How is it different? By your definition we shouldnt take pride in other's accomplishments. Furthermore, Blacks didnt have the luxury of saying to racist whites "hey, Im not connected to other Black people, so please dont lynch me, torture me, rape my wife, or kill my kids just because my hue is darker than yours"....In addition, you dont see any connectivity towards the valor and sacrifices made by those of your hue, and the freedoms you are afforded today?

  • @TheRealMidori ....So if somebody asked, are you proud of your mother or father, would you say "no I'm not proud" with your justification being that you don't want to take credit for their accomplishments? Curious.

  • @TheRealMidori Many would disagree with me and i would never stop any from doing what they feel gives them self esteem.

We all need certain self esteem BUT when it cause a human to put another one down on account of 'supremacy' it gets ridiculous.

I mean, i knew a friend back in the UK who was from Jamaica. A great guy but he looked down upon any other West Indians from other islands and called them "small island" people.

It used to make me laugh! He was serious though.

  • @TheRealMidori I can never understand racial prejudice nor pride. It's all ego. Both ways. A friend of mine used to say ( and this sounds very morbid so excuse me)

'When we're dead we ALL look the same..WAXED.'

So where's the need for superiority? When the ego gets in the way people get hurt.

  • Comment removed

  • @taildragger53 Racial pride is not mutually exclusive from racial prejudice. Racial pride, from a Black perspective is a response to sociopathic oppression. Perhaps if your history was one of enslavement and legalized discrimination, only to have brave men and women give their life so that you would have the freedoms they were ruthlessly denied --- perhaps you would have a tinge of pride. Not to mention the institutionalized discrimination that continues to this day.

  • @flipgood89 My history IS connected to discrimination.

That's the problem..you're jumping to conclusions that i'm white.

Bravery is great and it's seems nice to be proud..BUT what happens when a member from your society perhaps mugs, kills, or steals? What happens to ones pride then? (and sadly this does occur) This is how fickle the notion of pride can be.

Oh , there's no doubt, it's great when we have people doing fine things.

How do the whites feel about Breivik at the moment?

  • @taildragger53 ....Your post is really something else. So Black people hopped on slave ships and went through 400 years of death, torture, and discrimination only to be told we deserve it because we're subhuman, just for the hell of it? Black pride is a response to those in power categorizing us as subhuman and not worthy of equal rights. That was for all Black people....Blacks arent afforded the opportunity to say "hey mr. white guy, Im different please dont hate me"....so what is ur point?

  • @flipgood89 You're caught up in the black thing and i sense bitterness.

Everytime 400 yrs is mentioned but remember, MANY Natives have also suffered at the hands of Colonialists?

The whole od Tasmania was wiped out.

Do they go ON & ON about it? Or is there voice not worthy enough?

Any human can be guilty of racism. I know Jamaicans who HATE yes, HATE Africans. Just look at the violence submitted by blacks upon blacks in Africa? Or even Indians in India.

The blame thing has got to end.

  • @taildragger53 ...when did I suggest for a second that native american voices or any voices of the oppressed arent "worthy enough"? I couldnt imagine being as narcissistic as you are and saying to them "you shouldnt be proud of your heritage and race". Thats unimaginable to me. Whats always funny in these types of discussions with your ilk, is how the victims are always on trial. We're bitter, we're angry, we're racist. Those that perpetrated very real discrimination are let off the hook

  • @flipgood89 Because YOU'RE emphasis is on only ONE segment of humanity.

Narcissism is the opposite of what i or proteanview project..

OK you can accuse me of being narcisstic but do you know what breeds narcissism?

It's PRIDE. And that is what YOU are.

You can accuse me if it makes you happy but it just shows what a sad but PROUD person you are.

  • @flipgood89 Come on now, be honest for a change...NOBODY's cause matters MORE than YOUR own.

But don't make out, please, that you have any sympathy for anyone else.

To you, NO ONE has suffered more than black people.

Speak to any Jew and he'll tell you no one has suffered more that the Jews..and so it goes on, boringly. Let it go and feel the relief you get from years of constant anger.

Proteanview has. You have to move on.

  • @taildragger53 ....racists havent moved on....thats the point. But we're told to hang our head and accept it.. Is that right?

  • @flipgood89 But racism is a RELATIVE thing. This is something you haven't realised..it's NOT a pure black 'n'white thing (excuse the pun)

Idi Amin used racism. Was he white? Racism went on in Guyana for yrs amongst dark skinned people.

ANYONE..i mean ANYONE can exercise racism.

I've seen racism used in black families. I've seen where the paler members are favoured more. It's WRONG, i know, but it's an evil side of the human condition.

  • @flipgood89 My point, dear sir, is one has to remove this constant chip on ones shoulder.

It's the chip that causes resentment and hate. I haven't said anything about being 'subhuman". Have i called any black person a subhuman? To do so would be to call myself one also.

I've seen black people enforce the same traits of racism that were inflicted upon them.

In the Carribean they call Indian people "coolies" and "subhuman". So what have some learnt from all the suffering?

  • @taildragger53 (cont)....where is the widespread institutional discrimination from Black people to other races, in a structural uniform sense, that suggests that "WE" have the chip on our shoulder. Shouldnt the people that discriminate in the form of housing, judicial, educational, and economical get the chip off their shoulders? Why are the victims the ones that have to bear the brunt of other peoples racism. What u are doing is a trying to shame Blacks from acknowledging racism by blaming us

  • @flipgood89 Times have moved on but you are still living in the days of slavery>

You have a Black President..a handsome guy. But you're still complaining about events that took place hundreds of yrs ago.

Is this what Black Pride is all about?

  • @taildragger53 ....nice try. My mom lived during the era of the KKK, when Blacks could be lynched and killed without repercussion. The legacy of oppression means that we didnt have wealth or opportunities to pass down from generation to generation...There is still widespread discrimination in areas of the judicial, the educational, housing....you name it, which keeps Blacks quarantined in second class like conditions....but Oh, i forgot, we're the ones with the chips on our shoulders.

  • @flipgood89 You are putting yourself through torment (no one else) and then projecting that SAME inner torment by accusing me of being narcisstic (LOL)

But what do you want society to do? Give you compensation? Perhaps you seek attention JUST because you are black? You can look for streams of validation BUT we can't change history.

We HAVE to accept it, warts and all. If we don't we get messed up psychologically..and i had alot of friends who went insane beating themselves up.

  • @flipgood89 Look man, i know black families in the UK who have MANY white members.

What are they supposed to do? Block them? Only speak to the real black ones?

Infact most Afro-Carribeans always go on about their "white ancestry" and there's ALOT in Trinidad, St Lucia, eveywhere. They are PROUD of it (again a stumbling block)

There are really NO more pure black people around (perhaps in tiny areas of Africa)..we're ALL mixed.

    So you're argument is lame.

  • @taildragger53 .....What you are doing is akin to if you were walking down the street with your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/mother.....whatever applies. Out of nowhere, somebody punches you in the face and spits in your loved one's eye for no reason. As you're collecting yourself, I run in and scold you to not respond or even acknowledge what just happened to you --- insulting YOU calling you angry and having a chip on your shoulder...Again, the racists havent moved on and THEY have the chip....

  • @flipgood89 That has actually happened to me on MANY occasions in the UK.

I have been attacked MANY times back in London..but NOT only by WHITES!(sad to say)

As i said before, racism/violence can be practiced by anyone.

All it takes is ignorance and not only white folk can be ignorant.(come on now)

What you mention here is a basic case of physical abuse (whatever reason doesn't matter) You have a right to defend your family or yourself WHOEVER attacks you.

  • @taildragger53 ....LOL, that was not the point of my example. I was not asking you which race of people have attacked u more....the example was race neutral. My example was to point out that I would be shaming you, when you have done nothing wrong and are simply trying to live in peace, while ignoring somebody who is terrorizing you. And for the record, I am a supporter of all oppressed people. Gays, Hispanics, women, etc. Discrimination is to be tackled, not hidden from like a coward.

  • @flipgood89 I agree with you and respect your view on living in peace. I'm the same BUT discrimination is a VERY complex point.

It's bred from IGNORANCE and ANYBODY can be ignorant.

The past eras of slavery were down to ignorance and FEAR.(control is the key for humans)

But there's NOTHING we can do about past eras. I wish there was.

But look at the inner cities of most places like London, Toronto etc.

Black on black killing. Can't blame whites for that!

  • @taildragger53 ....Black people are denied credit (so important)...there is police brutality, discriminatory hiring practices, discriminatory housing practices, unequal judicial system for races....there are daily attacks on black people's dignity and humanity from racist talking heads like Rush Limbaugh, who use coded language to appeal to racist whites. Thats institutional discrimination that affects Blacks and other minorities and affect the quality of life for those who are injured.

  • @flipgood89 You've got racial tunnel vision. I tell, you i can go on about being ill treated but you wouldn't have the patience to hear MY side.

You're only seeing it from YOUR side which holds alot of bitterness.

Can't go through life like that.

  • @flipgood89 What about the gang related, black on black crime that's going on today?

You seem to avoid my comments alot of the time.

Who's to blame for that? white people? Or are you telling me the "poor black kids"(with their gold chains & BMW;s) don't have any choice but to be ignorant and kill? I suppose that's OK because they are black?

  • @taildragger53 ....Of course, criminals and those of a pathological nature should be held accountable. Nobody is saying that. But you have to address the sociological and structural problems that creates environments. If you grew up in a crime ridden, dysfunctional household and neighborhood, how would u turn out. This has a direct link to racism --- denied opportunities and facing hostility from whites turned neighborhoods upside down. What u think Blacks are just violent? In their genes?

  • @flipgood89 ANYBODY can be violent. To be HUMAN is to be violent. You're getting defensive because something NEGATIVE is being associated with your precious ego..and THATS the problem with PRIDE

What i'm trying to say is if you're proud of being Black (and that's all well'n'good) then WHO takes the responsibility for the "downside' of the society?

Just because you are raised in an environment is NO excuse. It still is NO excuse for murder.

  • @flipgood89 Life is NOT a white/black thing. Your way of looking at it all is archaic. It's a 1960s-1970s thing.

We are ALL racially mixed. Many kids all through the World are born into dysfunctional households, many are not Black, most DONT feel the need to become evil.

Denied opportunities? Most of the black kids i see in the city are driving fancy cars, have gold chains & a harem of women. They're doing great peddling drugs BUT still killing! (their OWN) Not many are poor.

  • @taildragger53 You're an idiot. Poor black kids don't have BMW's nor gold chains. You are a typical uneducated neanderthal white scumbag. Laughable lol

  • @flipgood89 How could you be shaming me if all you were doing was protecting your family or yourself?

I mean. you own brother could attack your mother or you and you'd be in your rights to defend yourself.

It has nothing to do with RACE..it's basic defence. Maybe this is a scenario that has occurred with you?

  • @taildragger53 ....In my example, I was a casual and neutral observer....When I intruded on the hypothetical situation, I attacked you, the innocent victim, and did not address the person who attacked you....I called you names and blamed you, when you've done nothing wrong.

  • @flipgood89 You're talking hypothesis. I was attacked/mugged by a BLACK guy just two days after my father died.(and i am ethnic)

I was en route to make funeral plans when i got knifed but ended up spending the whole period in intensive care.

I'm sorry, but you're talking CRAP. I've LIVED it (nearly didn't)

But do i go about fearing every black kid? Do i go on about it CONSTANTLY? ANYONE can exhibit violence.

So much for your obsessional "head games".

  • @taildragger53 ....now, Im starting to see the source of your anger towards Blacks. Makes sense. Well, I'm not going to deny your humanity or narrative....to do such would make me a hypocrite. Im sorry for your situation, but that doesnt have anything to do with Black people as a whole and it sounds like you yourself need to listen to your own advice and let go of your anger toward a group of people.

  • @flipgood89 There is no anger involved. I don't hate anyone nor have a need to since i'm made up of many nationalities, similar to most other Black people who have ALOT of European blood.

But i knew many guys like yourself back where i worked in the UK and they beat themselves up constantly with the "Black Pride" thing. Most had alot of Euro blood in them. Many ended up in asylums.because of the mental confusion

    What's the point?

"Pride comes before a FALL" (Proverbs 16:18)

  • @taildragger53 Many blacks do not have ALOT of European blood. Just look at us, our African DNA is superior to anything else that might be there.

  • @flipgood89 The example to you of me attacked by a black kid just shows you that i DONT go around with a chip on my shoulder looking for the next mugger.

Shit happens and we have to move on.

But if YOU'd been mugged by a WHITE kid it would affect your black pride and you'd project that anger onto EVERY white person around. I've seen this happen.

Knew a black guy who said "The next WHITE person i see i'm gonna kill!" So some innocent person gets hurt.

    So much for pride.

  • @TheRealMidori Sorry if my comments were misleading.

I agree with you 100%. What i was trying to expalin is, i'm made up of several races so which one do i pick to be proud of the most? (ha ha) Racial pride is a psychological game.

    It's an ego trip.

  • We Can Take Pride in our nationality. I'm A Moorish American, What About U? Though the amount of melanine that one has is important it is not the most important thing, However your nationality is one of the most important things. I hope your mom "Grabed you by the arms" and told you your TRUE Nationality.

  • I have a thing against pride of being born a certain way. I have no pride in being Thai and black or being born in the US. I could be Greek, Mongolian, or Mayan. I could be throwing up Greek philosophers and inventors, Mongolian conquerors, or Mayan astronomers. The thing is we have no power on where and how we're born, and to take the achievements of others in your group and use them as some justification of self- importance is just...plain wrong.

  • While I don't support the idea of pride for any ethnicity, I think it's important for people to know that they shouldn't be ashamed of it either, and racial minorities have been taught throughout history that they are lower than the racial majority. I'm not ashamed to be white, and no one one should be ashamed to be black, Asian, Hispanic, etc.

  • He is simply saying that he cant take pride in something he had nothing to do with, just that simple. this video made me think and question my own views about black pride and ive realized that i agree with him. But i think we can take pride in the accomplishments that others in group or ethnicity but to take pride in your group simply because you were born into that group doesnt make sense if you really think about.

  • Thank you for this vid.

I AM PROUD TO BE MYSELF, Not white.

  • The poster of this video is another "hideous uncle tom" idiot. Neanderthal moron. You are a disgusting cretin. Just walk off a tall bridge.

  • @MassiveFaith

this guy is right if black people are proud to be black then are they ashamed to be black because of black crime and black failure? excellent point he makes. someone needs to point this out on fox news so more white people here this.

  • @MassiveFaith

    truth hurts?

  • @Rw7451 I know your accustomed to not think for yourself so I'll make this simple: Just because you agree with this cretin doesn't mean he speaks the "truth". He, in his self-hating audacity, is trying to assimilate into a culture that doesn't honor him. Furthermore, he urinates on his ancestors to dilute himself that we live in a post-racial reality.

Listen to him and you'll see the Uncle tom "zeal" he perversely "shines" with. He, like Clarence Thomas, is an embarrassment.

  • @MassiveFaith

Oh, I forgot, It's still 1862 to some people out there...

  • I AM VERY PROUD OF MY SKIN MY ROOTS ND MY SELF TO U I GIVE U A WTF?

  • @Brothaninja Exactly these delusional cretins are repulsive at best. Their very inability to understand the underlying psychology of ethnocentric empowerment speaks to how far the larger culture has to go. I don't bother explaining my love of my black skin to these types of neanderthals - let them have their "post-racial" delusion.

Long live self-loving, educated, black people. If you don't like it, go back to the inbred hell you crawled out of.

  • @MassiveFaith thats the truth

  • people should be glad about who they are and not proud. Pride puffs up and carries you off into distant seperation. gladness embraces and brings together.

  • Hay that's kinda true

  • So we shouldn't be proud of being an American b/c the accomplishments so far were not our own?

  • Dang props to you I have never looked at things like you explained in your info.

  • I dont think u now what pride is....yes you can be proud of your race, religion, color, or sexual orientation you now why?... Huh... CAUSE IT EXIST AND HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH YOU. If your grateful for what you have and who you are and you believe it's positive and wouldn't change it for something else YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE PROUD.

  • @afrothuder

If societies in general didnt associate negative things with being black or dark then there would be no need for the reaction of black pride. The same thing comes with gay pride, muslim pride etc

Skin colour has no correlation with anything, unlike say a country where you can point to its values, aims, political system etc so it makes more sense to be proud of ones country than ones skin color.

Being proud to be black is akin to being proud to have dark eyes.

  • @SirHappyThe1st Why do Americans think race is only about skin color??? Being black is more than just skin color. If a white person paint there skin brown they are still white, if they have kids those kids would with other white people their kids would be full White.....Being proud to be black is being proud that your ancestors were african.

  • @afrothuder

You missed my point. I totally disagree with you.

Black pride is simply a reaction to racism.

Black skin should simply be a non issue neither something to be proud or ashamed of.

Many Africans are not black so you`re wrong again. Tunisians and moroccons are african and non black.

In Africa people dont make a fuss over being African they make a fuss over being from Ghana or Senegal or Nigeria etc.

u might as well be proud to have brown eyes just as meaningless.

  • @afrothuder

News flash everybody's ancestors are African its a fact.

  • @RedlineMMA really tho'.

  • @RedlineMMA

It wasn't Africa when humans developed, just plain rock. "Africa" is a modern label whom we relate to Africans and connecting feelings, feelings that didn't exist back then.

  • @freshhug That's cute, but no cigar. Your attempt at psuedo intellectual analysis is laughable at best. All humans evolved in Africa. This is an anthropological fact.

  • @MassiveFaith

Sorry mr "man hands on the keyboard"...lol, but your ad hominem slipped and bounced back at your ugly behind..

You don't get what I wrote so best stay back from discussions or put some manners on your questions.

And no I ain't gonna enlighten your dumb as now. Bye moron.

  • @freshhug no ad hominem attack, merely fact. Sorry you can't handle it.

  • @MassiveFaith

    Haha.., just shut it moron.

  • @freshhug That was thought provoking. You are amusing.

  • @afrothuder

You still don't get it, do you?

  • @SirHappyThe1st ...People with "dark eyes" were enslaved, which extended to the mid-19th century? America created Jim Crow laws for people with dark eyes, in order to enforce discrimination and prevent them from participating in the economy? People with dark eyes, were lynched, maimed, forced into second class citizenship all with support from our judicial system? I guess people throughout history with dark eyes died to overcome all this, so this guy could say " Im not proud to have dark eyes"

  • Blacks need no pride-blacks have massive........Im sure that gives you a gooood feeling oh yeah man !!!

  • " being proud" can be ment different things by different ppl
