  • Hai, i love you video´s, i make art photography, check me out!!!!! i subbed you!!!

  • You know what Andy, if there's to be any change in the system, then its people like you that will make it happen. Keep on truckin' ! :-)

  • U r the true example of God's Love! Ur light shines through so bright! Thanks 4 ur encouragement! Be Blessed Love&SMiles Tim

  • Wow those are some big goals, I just want to own a house with a heated garage.

  • Andy, you reminded me how much I have always wanted to write something meaningful, a life goal that I put on the shelf quite a while ago. Life gets so busy and you forget to take a moment and look at your life and your goals. Thanks for this video!

  • Good luck with your church concept. I think most churches start off the way you want your church to, its inevitable that they turn out the way they do, its just human nature to condemn and belittle.

  • Great video Andy!

Between this video and your blog post, you've got me thinking. I have a life list tucked away somewhere. I don't think I've even looked at it in over a year, which obviously defeats the purpose. I know I'm comfortable where I am, and one of my biggest fears is getting stuck here. But I'm still looking for the right chance to take the leap...

Anyway, your talk about the church reminded me of a video I meant to make. Maybe I'll get to it sometime in the next few weeks.

  • Im digging this video, great job!

  • Great list!

  • Thank you and thanks for watching!

  • Christ, Him crucified, and His resurrection.

Blessings to you on your continued journey..

  • Thanks.

  • I would share MY Baconator with Ralfonzo, but... umm.... it's mine and I don't wanna share okay!

    8-|

Hey, that's a A LOT of reading! Wow.

...weren't you supposed to be done with school?

    ;-)

I like this talkin' about Life Goals stuff.

  • Hmm.... Yeah I was done with school wasn't I? Out of the frying pan and into the fire I guess.

You can always make a life goals video too! (insert shameless plug for video response here)

    jk

As always, thanks for watching Curt!

  • If I ever figure out any life goals - AND get a life - I'll let ya know.

    :-D

  • guess who's going to post a response to this?

    go on..just guess

  • Molly, thank you so much for the video response!

    You=one of my favorite youtubers.

    You=awesome

  • Good vlog Andy! It's good to have life goals. I never really had any, but have a good life anyway!

As far as your problems with the evangelical church, I don't know what to say. I'll have to mull over what you said. I'm not sure what your definition of evangelical is so that might have some bearing. I just might have to get a headphone set so I can discuss this with you on Skype.

Keep up the good videos and happy reading!

  • I thought about you when I was making this video, and I was concerned with what you might say, because it's easy for me to come across like a bit of a hippie.

I guess I'm looking forward to a church that protests less and displays the love of Christ more. A church that cares for the oppressed (Isaiah 1:17) and doesn't live life in a corporately created subculture of "christian music" and "christian conventions". Those things have their place, but we need to be a blessing to the world.

  • And once we're the blessing, people will actually care what we have to say about the love of Jesus, and the way in which he's called us to live.

The message of Jesus is no less important or powerful today than it was 2000 years ago, but Christians are often times the biggest detrament to people finding Christ. They hear about peace, and salvation and love and redemption, but they see little of that in some of the loudest professing Christians

  • Good luck with your new class!

  • Thanks, it's gonna kill me.

  • wow good luck with those books o.0 how far are ye?

  • Not far enough, lol.

  • Good luck on finding out that smoke monster! I'm not holding my breath. This was a great video and very inspiration! I need to get back into my writing too. When are we going to do another Lost Talk?

  • Another LOST Talk? Anytime friend.

Thanks, it was actually really edifying to sit down and think about what I want to accomplish in life.

  • I like the idea of starting a new church in 10 years but by then you'll probably be making a lot more money and may have a family underway having many material needs. It won't be easy but if you and your friends can make a point of saving to make the goal a reality it should be possible. Good luck Andy; people like you give me hope that today's church can evolve into something more loving and less intolerant.

  • Love without sacrificing our core beliefs is key. I believe we can hold to our convictions and still love the world around us.

  • when i was in chicago i was eating at wendy´s at least 5 times a week!! we all have to die anyway!

there is no better death for me :)

    thanks for this!

  • Seriously, why not live while you're alive and have a baconator?!?

No problem, and if the opportunity ever arises, I'll get you that tasty sandwich!

  • Very well received. :)

    Good luck with the reading!

  • haha, thanks, but some of it looks downright painful.

  • Great vlog! I want to do one of these.

  • You absolutely should!

  • You're great, Andy. Such thoughtful, warm videos. Your congregants and friends (and subscribers) are lucky to have you in their (our) lives. A strong church is one with leaders/pastors that question its dogma, question its tradition, challenge religious authorities' condemnation of people outside of the norm (doubters, gays, women seeking religious leadership, etc.). You exemplify what is good and nurturing about the church. The light shines through you, and warms us. Keep growing.

  • Thanks! That means a lot to me.

  • great video. great ideas. i've been wanting to do a video sort of like this for a while but i'm struggling.

i can't wait to be involved in your church in ten years though! ;)

  • I hope you can be!

  • Great vlog Andy & a good idea too.

I like the idea of writing a blog too. But, i'm not sure i'd have the time to keep it going & i tend to speak better than i write anyway. So, maybe i'll just stick to vlogging instead?

I'll have a think to see if i can come up with some life goals myself. A bit late in the day maybe. But, there's always time for change :)

  • Andy, always stick to your strengths, and you are a strong vlogger my friend.

You should make a life goals video, it's never too late to make a change!

  • Thanks & i certainly agree that's it never too late to change.

I'll give the life goals some thought :)

  • Those are good goals. What kind of book would you want to publish if you were to go through with that goal?

And, yes this was an interesting vlog. It would be nice to see more of these kinds of vlogs in the future when you find the time. :)

  • I'd love to write fiction, young adult fiction. And some sort of indie-ish screen play. I'm a sucker for a movie with a ton of well written dialogue.

  • That second one you mentioned makes this comment awkward...

Ah yes, i think i know what you missed...the link to my new montage xD I believe you would like it, you're even in some of the clips.

a quote from a friend: "I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty fricken sweet"

Also, i would recommend a Triple Stacker to a Baconator *shivers*

btw, nice Lost poster behind you

  • I watched your Halo video, and it indeed was pretty sweet. Well done sir.

Thanks, that lost poster was like 89 cents!

  • Nice

    and thank you

  • i want to watch the eagles to win the super bowl, i know you mean the same with the bills.

  • Dude, a Bills superbowl victory would probably make my life. Too bad it seems kinda far off...

Good luck to your eagles next year man, they've got a great foundation to build upon.

  • yeh, but we really have the raiders and the texans to thank, the bills started off well, injuries haunted them.
