How successful are you? I am new at this, and I get upset like you do. I know you were talking to supporters and workers, but, I am not sure that approach would work with the girls.
I am successful at getting out there on a regular basis. My approach varies depending on the situation and God is in charge of the results. What upsets me is when "Christians" and/or Catholics work against the pro-lifers by complaining about the graphic nature of the signs and in other ways criticizing our efforts (but never helping themselves), distracting sidewalk counselors by having a gab fest by coming out to socialize rather than for the babies, etc.
The person I work with is post-abortive. She is always kind, though, she makes sure she gets heard. She evangelizes everyone she meets. Just the other day, she had a flood in her bedroom from the apt. upstairs, and was able to mention counseling to the guy who came to clean the carpet. He turned out to be post-abortive and now plans to reconcile with God. Don't know if it's for me, though. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and, prob. strengthen them in their resolve with my "passion".
Some pastors won't come out to minister in front of their local abortion mill or encourage their flocks to do the same because they say they are "called to evangelize". What a cop out! The fields at the abortion mills are ripe for harvest. I've given out more Gospel tracts at the mill than anywhere else.
Don't worry about wearing your heart on your sleeve. You can do everything through Christ Who strengthens you!
Earlier this year we had some carpet installed in our home. Come to find out I had counseled his daughter at the abortion mill and he is so thankful to have his precious granddaughter.
Yes, reach out with kindness to the abortion-minded parents heading into the killing centers.Make sure to offer them resources and use a pleading voice rather than a harsh voice. Just don't feel you need to be "nicer than Jesus." It doesn't do any good to sugar-coat the truth.
@YouTubulizer It's about attitude. Reflecting the love of Christ where it is obviously absent. I am trying to figure out if getting upset and yelling is from the Holy Spirit. I am undecided about this. I'm pretty sure swearing isn't, though.
Fascinating. The first potty mouths headed in to murder their children were obviously products of the public education system. Who was the first one, a babykilling pro-abort mocking you? He had the words down pact if that was so.
Counselling at abortion mills is not for the faint of heart. Personally when folks swear at me I try not to swear back, though I know it can be hard some times.....

Galatians 4:16
Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?

To prevent it from sounding harsh when calling out across a parking lot, I use a pleading voice with a megaphone. That way I don't have to yell.

We all blow it from time to time. Don't let that prevent you from doing what the Lord commands:
Proverbs 24:11-12
11 Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
12 If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?

Yes, I try not to, too. Even though I usually succeed there are those who would do better. They just refuse to obey God and show up.
