Sincere question: of the 20,000 homeless veterans, how many are homeless because they served? Is that a legitimate factor of whatever argument is made in this situation? This is a very, very complex situation. I never served and have nothing but respect for those that put themselves in harm's way for me. It's an emotional video but I would like as many facts as possible. I want us to do right by our vets but I also don't want to throw money away.

This is a scam. Look up the URL of the site this video tells you to visit on whois, than google them and you will find they have been associated with Escrow Fraud.  Futhermore if this was legitimate it would have the backing of the VFW or some other KNOWN Veteran's Orginzation. Don't get ripped off people!

Why is it that every ignorant, simple minded individual has the misconception that all homeless vets are drug addicts. I'm sure there are those who may be struggling with addiction but to lump them all together in that ridiculously ignorant category is just sad. Don't forget that these " drug addicts" weren't always struggling with these situations and were at one point protecting the very freedoms your taking advantge of today. They ALL deserve our help, gratitude, and compassion.

Also, the vets that are homeless @ West LA made a choice, there is plenty of care and treatment there for them, they chose to be on drugs, sell drugs to other vets on the property, and I thought it was funny that in one clip you show the Vets drugs...WHERE DID HE GET THE DRUGS? DAH-from the VA....so if the VA is so bad, why did he get medical care?The system isnt perfect and I can agree with that but most of the buildings on the property house homeless vets so STOP making things up!

wow, talk about one sided....you forgot to tell people that there are over 200 + homeless programs within the VA system and that those Vets HAVE TO BE DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE if they want to be in a shelter or rehab program! Also, the Wadsworth family gave the VA a 99 year lease on this property and it is not PUBLIC LAND! Get your facts straight and stop creating propaganda to serve your selfish needs! I don't think there is a group of people in this country more despicable than those in the entertainment community, especially, those in Hollywood, Brentwood. etc. There is nothing of value in their lives: it is all about THEM, what the HAVE, what they look like, what events they attend and who notices them. I haven't been to a movie in over a decade... a source of some pride. Anything I can do that does NOT enrich this crowd is of benefit.

This is robbery, pure and simple. GIVE IT BACK!

If it were up to me. I would build a hotel complex for homeless veterans, a drug and alcohol rehab center and school specifically for teaching veterans how to take care of each other. including GI rights classes, physical and physiological therapy, green jobs skills and the arts. I would also build a theater and convention complex for military reunions and public events.

Most of the buildings were condemned years ago because the VA would not pay for earthquake retrofits. That is not to say they can't be saved! The question is who will pay for it. As it stand right now, the VA has leased the property "Illegally" to a group of Brentwood homeowners that dose nothing to help veteran homeless or disabled.

was I thinking", moments. We should progress to our supporting our brightest and

best thinking by repenting our thoughtlessness. Pay these people our debt of gratitude
