  • Those shells are being disguised as ied's wow there sneaky these days!

  • The IED is the silver speck that appears right before it goes off on the road.

  • Incomng shell my ass. That was an IED. LUCKILY, it was placed too deep in the ground.

  • This is an IED for sure. I seen the interview with the actual troops that were inside. Lucky guys.

  • That's an IED, not an "incoming shell".

  • ...wow

  • doesn't look like an incoming shell. looks like an IED buried too deep.

  • Not an IED. Note in the first milliseconds of 0:07 a black projectile in the top-center of the frame.

  • @JohnP8ntballer I'm sure it was an IED. That "black projectile" is only seen as the ground is lifting, and is most likely material being blown outward. The depth of the explosion really suggests that it's an IED, luckily it was too deep and the ground took all the energy.

  • @JohnP8ntballer If you actually keep watching top center, you see the black 'projectile' appear after the explosion bounces the camera, and then appears again when the vehicle bounces over the cracked road. It's actually a speck of dirt or something on the windscreen, just comes into view when the camera bounces. :D

  • @JohnP8ntballer The ground is already moving when your "shell" comes into frame

  • IT A IED

  • looks more like an IED

  • Anyone think of Tremors when seeing this?

  • @WBrown999 More like "Dune"...you know, the war for spice and all...

  • like a IED

  • Damn it Achmed, you buried it too deep!!!

  • @ithpally its paved road... so what the insugents probably did, was stuff the IED into some sort of storm drain that runs under the road... i know that canada spent alot of time in their early years in afghanistan trying to close off these stormdrains because it was a favorite spot for ieds and much faster to place one there then digging

  • @101andrewj ok that makes a lot of sense. why dig a hole when there is already one made there for you? still, that is some scary shit. im just glad no one was hurt and we can all just laugh about it.

  • LMAO Thats some incoming huh iraqi and afghan vets anyone care to share what tht really was...Fine i will AN IED A HOLE

  • Guess they planted it abit too deep

  • 0:07 there is two option

    1. the road of boner coz of costant sweeping from the tire's

    2. thats world largest tunnel snail

  • It's an IED, moron.

  • press 8

  • Its a IED not an artillery shell

  • i got more money than you shake a dick at

  • That ain't no incoming shell. It's an IED, buried deep under the road.

  • I thought this was an IED

  • fuck usa

  • @WXXE12 Sucks to suck, eh?

  • @WXXE12 fag

  • It's not an incoming round, it' not cratering when it hits, it's doing the opposite. And they just used a small charge. Dumb ass insurgents.

  • if it was artillery the explosion would not have come up from underground unless they were using delay rounds

  • @samichking21 delay rounds? lol Do they use those in imagination land?

  • lool for a sec i thougth i was watching War of worlds!

  • IED is triggered by some1 for it to explode right?

  • @iDar3u2n0tcliCkm3 it can be many things. weight of vehicle, human etc. trip wire or electric current like phone call or regular wire.

  • If it had come from top right or top left the debris would have gone in that direction not straight up.

  • that "incoming shell" can also be seen at 0:00. it's just a clump of dirt on the windscreen, folks.

  • IED. You can see the same smudge on the window right at the end of the video.

  • excelent usage of " holy shit"

  • i wanted angerfist !

  • incoming?? who did you steal this video from hnsez?? There is no incoming

  • At least no one was hurt :)

  • it was not placed under the street. go to 0:04 and pause. then keep pressing space and u can clearly see something coming from the top right before the explosion

  • @CaesarOfCitrus Bull. It was a buried ied. I am a Vietnam veteran and have seen lots of incoming mortars and rockets. No surface explosion would do that.

  • @CaesarOfCitrus I agree but it sure was not artillery. Maybe a bunker buster? I can't imagine the enemy having the technology though... maybe friendly fire?

  • @CaesarOfCitrus it didnt come from the top it was moving upwards. Follow you own directions, you'll see the trail of dust and small debris under it. play and pause very fast, the thing moves up the screen not down.

  • @CaesarOfCitrus no it's after the bang.

  • I suggest the iraqis have to build stronger streets

  • Just one question...why are we still in Iraq when our GREAT president George W. Bush announced on the deck of an aircraft carrier, "Mission accomplished"? Probably the same reason Obama announced we killed bin Laden...just another lie to pacify the American sheeple. May God have mercy on all your pathetic souls.

  • @shizukesa65 keep thinking that while we keep kicking ass and taking names

  • You can see the falling shell

  • @rud100le

You can also see the same "falling shell" (piece of dirt on the windscreen) at 0:10.

  • It's a fucking Ied they dug it in to much

  • why does the dirt go up and out not in and away?

  • How is it an IED? If you do a Frame-by-Frame you can clearly see the incoming shell before it hits the ground

  • That's what happens when you invade someone's country. They want to blow you up.

  • That was not an incoming shell, that was a buried IED.

  • incoming shell? how on earth was that your assumption? Mr. Spinks is clearly correct in that it's an IED buried too deep.

  • looks like a bubble. stay safe guys and come home!

  • Maud'Dib! We have worm sign!

  • what game is this. nice graphic

  • @Yacin3004 trollface.jpg

  • The terrorists get smarter every year.

  • godzilla coming out of the streets in iraq

  • he sounds like tourettes guy when he says holy shit

  • @jhafanador69

    "AH SHET! ...FUCK SALT!"

  • I always thought this was an IED but you can see something fly into the ground.

  • @AaronSmith0 actually what you see is a bit dirt on the window pane^^

  • @AaronSmith0 it is an IED...

  • wow

  • The nigger folk did it

  • this is what happen in the UK all the time when you dont pay your road tax.

  • @kingspunkbubble lol mines for the win

  • IED

  • @mejameyaw LOL i hate every country except U.S.A because every other country is fuckin stupid

  • LOL i hate U.S.A and i wish this boom killed that fucken ass hole with the hole shit word but this is awsome to see it and get it on camera and live to tell about it LOL

  • @mejawmeyaw El Caminos aren't American.

  • wow ive travelled this route so many times

  • People thought it was a missle? lol.....

  • Tremors..anyone? anyone?

  • someone used earth bending, or this is just better special effects than The Last Airbender.

  • its an IED they like placing them in tunnels under the road that link the fields this was 2 deep 2 cause and serious damage and its a mark on the glass ppl not a missile if u keep watching the film u can clearly see it come back in2 view if not just keep tapping 0 while not in full screen and o look its a mark lol

  • @mcoop999 LOL It would have sent the vehicle flying and probably killing ALL ON BOARD. I can't believe you think that it was not dangerous.

  • Comment removed

  • That Is sweet

  • oh shit gears of war is real

  • Just FYI to everyone.

The "missile" you are all seeing at the 7 second mark is repeated at the 10 second mark. So unless there are two missiles and only one explodes it is a mark on the inside of the window.

    :)

  • oh god the the transformers are here

  • fucking western contract road making companies. That tar has to be laid by westerners.Probably Italians by the thikness

  • this is so fake!!!

  • @adampostma1 thats funny cus its real

  • ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS!

  • stupid iraqis, they bured the explosives too deep ahahaha

  • I was expecting a sandworm from Tremors to pop out haha

  • This was an IED not Incoming rounds.

  • @ 0:07 you can see a plate shaped object on the left of the road. That looks like it would have just flipped the vehicle over.

  • @ 0:07 you can see a plate shaped object on the left of the road.

  • the ground had a bonner

  • improvised explosive device ... nothing incomming i see, you guys got lucky

  • holy shit ?

  • very close, looks like antiarmor round with shaped charge if noone hurts (HE charges making very dangerous fragments)

  • @macieksoft thats a IED man, thats not an incoming round. This one was buried just a bit too deep. Been there, done that, also shat my pants!

  • i liked the part when he said WOA :P

  • What they didn't show was the massive Iraqi Death Worm that was the cause of that "explosion".

  • This wasn't actually incoming. this was an IED buried 20 feet underground. That's how powerful they are. emphasis on 20 feet...

  • @h4ckluserr 20 feet ?? really ?? are you outta your mind ? thats like 2 stories deep. think again

  • it's like a giant deathworm breaks out from the ground!

  • thats was like a title wave in the road thats awesome BUT SUPER NOT OK!

  • Thats a BIG freaking IED, I wouldn't want to drive on that road..

  • ITS AN IED U RETARD DONT POST ANYMORE VIDEOS LITTLE BOY

  • its not incoming, its an ied that was buried too deep.

  • It's an IED which has been placed too deep underground. The amount of dirt above it smothered the explosion..

  • @mrspinks Nope, you can see what ever hit the ground in a frame.

  • @mrspinks It was a shell. You can see it at 0:07.

  • @StevenRS111 no its not unless it drops another one at the end

  • @johnlinncon You are right. What I took for a shell was a black dot on the windshield. It becomes visible two times when the camera shakes (at the explosion and in the end).

I'm glad for the guys in the car though. "Не that is born to be hanged shall never be drowned.", hehe. Blown up with IED - maybe, but certainly not drowned :)

  • @StevenRS111 I have watched this many times and never picked it up.If it wasnt for the second film glitch i would have agreed.Must say you have good eyes no matter what it was

  • @StevenRS111

When you pause it at 7 seconds you can see the road starting to move up AND the mark inside the window at the same time. Which means that the mark you see isn't a missile as the road is already "exploding" before the "missile" hits the ground.

  • @mrspinks so what was the thing that fell from the sky right before it exploded

  • @blink180heights

It's not falling from the sky. It's part of the roof inside the vehicle. Like the mirror or something. If you pause it right on 7 seconds you can see the ground moving up whilst the mark is still in frame which means the mark in the "sky" hasn't hit the ground yet. It's on the inside of the window.

  • @mrspinks yeh but you can see something fly into the ground really fast if u look closely

  • @mrspinks if you play just before the explosion you can see the incoming shell.

  • @mrspinks if you look at 00:06 you can see the shell coming from the sky

  • @davey111111111111111 If you pause the video you can see that the thing in the sky is still above ground when the ground is beginning to open up.

  • @davey111111111111111

You can see the same "Shell" at 11 seconds. It is a mark on the windscreen.

  • how can i know its not edited? if it isnt, then i bow before u for sacrifizing ur life for ur country

  • @uhuju1 this is video from cameras they mounted on hummvs in high ied areas to gather intel, i know because i was trained on them, 100% not edited

  • bit obv not a mortar u can see it lifter from under the grounder

  • wooow lol

  • wow

  • Theres me thinking it was an IED planted in the drainage pipes under the road.

  • @fightnight1989 If you look carefully you can actually see a white cap type thing in the road just before it explodes. Good job, alert driver! God Bless our brave soldiers.

  • @groov539 I have a few friends who served there. They said he Iraqi insurgents used to slide the IED's under the drainage pipes and then watch from cover.

  • almost owned....

  • Comment removed

  • @mrroboto695 If it's an IED, what is that "shell" from the sky at 0:06 then? I don't really think it's an IED. Sorry mate

  • @reisdal I have driven on this route many times, and have seen this spot in the road. (It's since been repaired) It looks to be: a dirt spot on the window exposed when the camera rocks upward at the shock wave, or a piece of the 155 casing projecting upward from the IED, which I believe this is. Insurgents didn't have artillery capable of firing projectiles large enough to produce an explosion like this. This is typical of a deep buried IED. We used to see the after-effect on roads all the time.

  • @reisdal The "shell" you see is debris or a glare on the windshield. It's not even lined up with the blast. So how can you make a claim like that?

  • @reisdal i agree it's definitely a mortar

  • road side bomb planted too deep good thing, we win this round

  • buried too deep...

    thats what she said

  • That is incredible how it moves the earth and road. I assume the thing was designed to explode underground? or did it mal-function?

Judging by the amount of earth moved and destruction of the road, i think it's probably a good thing it did explode underground.

  • How stupid this is labled. This happen in Mosul, Iraq, where I was it is an IED on Rt. Santa Fe. It is not a Mortar nor an artillery round. This is what happens when you burry it too deep

  • wtf..

  • *Call of Duty reference*

  • @Kurtis23BT CPL.DUNN !

  • you're all wrong. its clearly a flying saucer.

  • @projectloki lol

  • IED

  • Don't you love the people who say they are in the armed forces to be cool?

Not hating on the military, just the tryhards.

  • Awesome, you can actually see the shell just before it hits the ground, very cool :)

  • Had that been an Artillery shell they would not have been there to tell the story.

  • This was an IED buried a bit too deep. A friend of mine of the 134th MP's out of Groton CT was embeded with the 144th. in Mosul this happend on there patrol.

  • DON'T WORRY! NO ONE was hurt in the making of this film

  • holy fuck is all i have to say. Thank god these men made it out alive, however many before them and many since havnt been so lucky. So all of you stupid nerds arguing about the title of the video should play this video, then play it again and again until you realize the severity of what these people go through everyday. Then you will realize the true point in which is video was ment to make.

  • I dunno if this is IED or what... but if you look closely right before the explosion there is a black streak in the sky

  • "incoming shell" Are you kidding me? You're an idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • Also, to the person who posted this... you are the supreme tool for not knowing what the fuck it was that you posted... toolbag loser, go play call of duty in your parents basement and fist yourself

  • Listen you fuckin tools, its a roadside bomb... IED its not an incoming shell and anyone who thinks it is should shut the fuck up, stop trying to be cool and stop actin like they know what the fuck they are looking at... Thank you that is all.

  • See, thats whats happens when you set a wrong title on the video. Everybody forgets the whole point of the video, and fills the whole comment list with disscution about which kind of "explosives" it was. :P

  • Where the fuck?! THAT'S A TIDAL WAVE.

  • This IED was placed way too deep. The explosion was huge, judging by the hill it made. These guys would've died, luckily they didn't. I don't believe in God. But, since it is a saying with good meaning. God Bless Our Troops.

  • THAT WAS AN I.E.D, NOT A SHELL!

  • This was a culvert bomb on route Tampa between Tikrit and Samarra. It was recorded by 3RD BDE, 82nd ABN Div

  • IED. a surface contact shell wouldnt have gone so deep. : / . still fucking cool though

  • 0:07 :-0

  • holly shit thats fucking crazy

  • that there was a decepticon.

  • sorry dude its a IED

  • This was an IED that was buried a little deeper than normal.

  • Damn

  • Comment removed

  • @juliogbox It can never be too deep. The deeper, the better

  • lol all these nerds breaking down the situation. mw2 warrior know-it-alls.

  • @projectloki lol i love it when know-it-all kids try n tell u whats what, then ya turn around n ask em, well whats the L115A3 lol

  • @AirsoftDAN0 wait a min, thats not in the game. Ask me about the Barrett.
