Oh man! I haven't seen these in a good 20 years! A good amount of these cartoons (DIC especially) were animated in Japan by either TMS, Toei or others.

Cartoons back in the 80s were funny. And they looked better too. All hand-drawn and painted unlike most of everything today that's done in Flash.

Cool opening song! I remember Kidd Video, but since I was only a tot at the time I didn't really care less about it.

It ran on NBC for two seasons from September 1984 to December 1985.
