This is the type of phone where it would give anyone a good 1st impression, then when you use it you will think looks is deceiving. People would see the phone in your hand and say wow what a nice phone, but they will be unaware as to how lame it really is

I have this phone and i can tell you the lag is only on the homescreen, but the menu and the rest of the phone works pretty quick and the lag is not as bad as this man makes out to be!

The phone is nice, compact, slim and yes does feel solid. What lets it down is theres hardley any applications theres no games theres not even a pc suite for it! I've been looking on the net, but found nothing.

This phone is completely standard accept for the fact that you can socialize i.e faceboock etc

something I'd like to add is that to me it seems really annoying that the buttons on the left side to adjust the volume, "change" depending on the way you hold it. When you are in landscape mode, the one that usually increases the volume,, will decrease it...sometimes, when you listen to music, you don't really pay attention and press the wrong button...or you press it right at the moment when the mode changes, cause you might have held it in an awkward position...

I owe the phone, still got some questions though...first: how do I actually zoom in, when using the cam ( probably a really stupid question) second: is there any way of preventing the phone from accesing the internet via umts...since I don't have a flatrate I don't wanna get surprised by my bill...most of the applications, such as facebook, twitter, google maps, weather forecast, etc. access the internet ( without asking for permission?!) thanks for helping out guys! great phone overall :)

I have this phone. I dont regret buying it. I'm pretty happy with it. It has an awesome design, in my opinion. It has a great screen. The sound is clear and loud when you put it at the max. But the bad thing is that its battery life sucks.

I got the phone today. You have to push pretty hard to do it. Push the bottom Firmly DOWN towards the bottom of the phone until it unclicks. Then pull the cover off. When you put it back just do the same thing in reverse.

@KiyoshiAugustus ive got the samsung jet now and want to get the lg mini. the samsung jet lags and you get sick of the touch screen after a while. the lg mini has a more responsive touch screen and better look/design and has a higher resolution than the samsung jet.

Why do you think it's lagging like that?... It's because of all the widgets you have open. All phone's lag if u have all their widgets open simultaneously opened. That is actually quick for the amount of widgets you have opened. I own a Samsung I9000 which is not a bad phone at all and it still lags if i have all the widgets open like all phones would. Although my samsung takes twice as long to load then this. This is a great phone as my brother has it, It dosen't lag at all, recommended to all.
