  • Alhamdulillah..thank you for this talk. It's very helpful. I too have gotten that question: Where are you from? Even my extended family ask and wonder why an American (white, is what they really mean) woman can be Muslim. btw, the sister on the left...did you get your hijab on Shukr Islamic Clothing...the sporty hijab? I really like it and would like to purchase one.

  • jzkhair lovely ladies :) Ill be starting my new job soon, so ill be sure to bear in mind your advice. Its most likely that ill be the only muslim so im pretty sure im going to get a few curious questions!

  • Nye,just a small correction: I think you meant Virgin Birth, not immaculate conception. Immaculate conception is a Roman Catholic doctrine that says Mary was conceived by HER parents without a 'stain' ('macula' in Latin, hence immaculate) of original sin. :)) xx

  • Good point my honoured friend "dreamworldstory" but the main thing that the sisters are talking about is their experience and how manners can influence non-muslim. However, with regards to your advice on how to learn the DEEN; one should first start basic such as learning arabic then Tawheed e.t.c. After you have mastered these basics then you talk authentic hadith. Furthermore, you said comparing authentic sources one must be an muftee or schooler to compare stuff.

  • Masha Allah really nice to understand with plain English & my family loves it... May Allah bless you two more to do this kind of work... Ameen... :)

  • mashallah...to both of and very good motivation speech to non-muslims an muslims....may I ask especially the grl wearing the dark blue hijab...r u married?....if u dnt feel answering ur welcome to say so?

  • plz plz plz girls tell me are u sunni or shia?which one is better thanks

  • @dreamworldstory We are both Sunni Muslims.

  • @dreamworldstory Its not a question of which is better but you should ask which one seems to be closer to the truth,

my recommendation would be to read the Quran and focus on the key concepts of it discusses i.e. "Tawheed" (The Oneness of God) and then compare that to authentic sources with Sunni sources and then Shia sources,

if you would like more info on this topic send me a message : )

  • @dreamworldstory sunni is better ... why ? bcz sunni recommended u to be a muslim and that is it

but shia they will try to force u to be shia

another thing sunni come with our prothet PBUH and shia come long time after him

  • @alsanabani yeah i realized that sunni is a way better than shia after lookin for informations about both sunni and shia

  • @dreamworldstory shia are those who killed Ali and keep krying on him till they start to worship him..........like jewish who they kill jesus then worship him

  • i have some past things.which disturb me a lot n distract me following the path......i wanna know the repentance i can do.

n its like.i took on islam as religion about 7 months earlier but i did some mistakes....after which i m now a so called non believer..what u call an atheist..

please tell me how do i get the forgivness n accept islam whole heartidly without guilt.

i cant discuss the problem here.can i get some privacy anywhere.where i can openly say it.i would b really thankful sis.

  • @ammieGreen Why dont you try private messaging them? or go on their facebook page?

  • @didz12345 how can i private message??...please elaborate

  • m really desperate for reply...........please sisters.....help me.....respond soon

  • sister i pleed to not look down on me. so its like i had taken on islam but like with knowledge =zero.

i hav a boy n he jst came over n there happened somthing but it wasnt like complete xx. i have had web chats n stuff which is a guilt lik death....i dono what to do. how do i deliver myself from all this. will Allah ever forgive me?. mi worth forgivness.

  • Jazakallah for the tips,it's always a good reminder that our behaviour is an example and our actions and manners go along way in forming a true representation of Islam

  • Masha'Allah, you sisters are always so sweet and inspiring. :) Though I don't work since I'm currently a full time student, this motivated me to be an even better example to my fellow students. Knowing that as not just Muslims, but hijabi's that we're a constant example of Islam is always a wonderful motivation to be on the best behavior. Masha'Allah I just love your videos, so nice to see a fellow revert being so passionate about Islam.

  • Can you guys answer me back please?

I'm the only Muslim my school and Im in the last year and I can't take it anymore because I have no social life with anyone plus my parents don't allow me out if the house. What's the point in loving any longer? I don't have any friends I can talk to and not happy with my life.

  • mashaAllah great job , may Allah bless you sisters , I love you in sake of Allah =)

  • Asalaam alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu, love your videos! I don't work, but my hubby works from home and he's always on the phone with his job and working on stuff via the laptop and saying stuff like "insha'Allah" or "bismillah" and now his co-workers started doing it too! lol. They asked what it meant and they liked it, Subhan'Allah! Glory be to God!

  • Dawah is done like almost everyday for me at work! People are sooo curious why I made such a big change in my life!

    Salaam ladies!!!

  • I love all of your videos. You guys make a fantastic team. Jazak Allah Khair.

  • Dear Sisters,

I so love your videos, you guys are so positive, I so love you...Salaams from your sister in Illinois :))

  • Asalaam Alaikum sisters, you ladies are such an inspiration to me, as a recent convert i have watched all you videos since discovering your youtube channel, and everytime i come away with a bit more knowledge than i had before, you both do a fantastic job with your videos, Inshallah you will be rewarded in paradise!

  • lovely video x

  • are u shia or sunni?

  • Masha'Allaah may Allaah bless u both for ur advice and efforts. Really Helpful

  • may Allah bless you..

you're gorges, thorough and extremely amazing ..

I love you in Allah :)

  • jazakum Allahu Khair for this video

we can all use advice and perspective on it :)

all the points you mentioned are so true, if i can add i would say:

    - be inclusive in your words, don't alienate the muslim society, a lot of muslims in the west keep to themselves way too much, it's very sad to see.

    - READ, subhanaAllah it's amazing how interacting with non-muslims teaches you about Islam.

    - be proud of being muslim, cause that is an ENERGY that people can pickup without you saying anything.

  • life is a looonnnggg loonnggg lesson - insha'allah we will all be guided to the good lessons and learn and seek forgivenss from the bad. bless you sisters xxxxx

  • I know when i was younger i ran a mile from dawah situations becuase i felt inadequate that i didnt know alot and like i was being tested & that the info was too seriouse and not relatable at all to my ignorant teenage mind. I'd encourage all to think of those points - its not nice to be put on the spot especially infront of others and like your being interogated and critisized for things you dont know =/

  • Actions speak louder than words.

  • You two are such an inspiration :)

  • "God knows, let's pray that God gives us knowledge (Quran 20:114)"

You girls should check out 'project root list', and lanes lexicon over at tyndalearchive for the arabic terms.

  • Masha'Allah excellent video, you two are such lovely ladies and an inspiration to me as a recent convert. Subhan'Allah great ideas and reminders sisters!

  • Thank you sisters for your advise.i have born as amuslim in and work in

a place where few non-muslims there ..really am jealouse of you will try

to make Dawah :) Allah bless you . jazakom Allah kyer

  • Excellent video masha'Allah! Keep 'em coming!

We're not out to convert people, our job is to foster an understanding of Islam in people and invite them to our faith.

  • i was wondering how you both would suggest dressing for a job interview or office type setting and how would you integrate your faith if you convert while at a conservative workplace without getting too many questions at first .....would love to see examples of outfits if possible ?

  • Great advice! Love this video!

  • Salam sisters I love your videos so much! ♥

Around @3:15 you used the term "jipping" Just in case you may not know that that term has roots in racial stereotyping (Gypsies, Romanian in particular) and can be found offensive by a few. I say it a lot but have been trying to catch myself- I hope I don’t take away from your message by bringing up- Just wanted to help : )
