The Michael Moore movie Sicko has not one, but two guys who cut off fingers with saws. I've two bosses both lost the end of finger. (One of them recently shot a guy in the face but that is a different story). I almost gashed my hand with a winding down chop saw but it was a graze. Very scary though, came really close, right ontop of main throbbing vein between thumb and first finder, top of hand.
