  • just had bi-lateral acl reconstruction a week ago(both legs). gona be unstopable in a few more weeks. really shity past year tho!

  • Is this one of those type of injuries which you may not realize having it for months until it really gets messed up? I am so suspicious about my knee. I twisted it a month ago and no pain felt since yesterday i kinda feel my leg where i twisted is loose when I walk. Its not in control like my right one.. Please give me some details if you have any understanding please..

  • @TAJIKROCKS nah.. you would have felt a pop and been crippled

  • @TheShnag Thank you as well

  • @TAJIKROCKS that is correct that you would've felt a pop and been crippled at the first time you injured it. However, you'd be able to walk normal again after couple of weeks. Then you would feel that your knee is not as stable as the one before you injured it. If you said that you feel your knee is kinda loose sometime, that's exactly what I felt during the past 3 years. I tore my ACL 3 years ago and did not know what had happened with my knee until I had an MRI test. Hope it helps.

  • @simerah1102 Thank You Simerah... Its pretty close to reality and wish some miracle happened, so I didn't need to do any surgery..

  • I had an injury like this, playing soccer, my knee cap got twisted, and after a year and a half it's not really good, still feel the consequences, cause can't get a surgery till i'm 18, booo gay doctors!

  • Does anyone think I'll need this surgery? About a month ago at soccer practice a girl fell on me and weighed as much as me, and I fell and my knee bent behind my leg as I fell and our combined weight of around 300 LBS crunched my knee. I can walk normally for the most part and skateboard some what. I haven't been to the doctors but I also haven't been running since then. I no longer feel any pain just some occasional nerve spasms in my knee. Do you think I'll need to get surgery? Thanks.

  • @FamousSASkater I would really recommend going to a doctor. They will do a couple of quick tests in the office and perhaps send you for an MRI, which will confirm for sure whether or not you have a torn ACL. You just don't want to have a torn ACL because, since the ACL stabilizes the knee, you are risking more knee injuries by being active on a potentially unstable joint. Hope your knee is alright.

  • @ivalovesJB Thanks, my mom is scheduling me an appointment this Tuesday, hopefully I can get checked out the same day.

  • @FamousSASkater Good luck!

  • This helps to better understand the actual structure of the cruciated ligaments - thank you for this video
