@phantom2k10 good call but i did fuck all at school and still got into a very good music college. without taking the subjects they wanted at a level and not being able to read or even really compose music. all the time i wasnt doing homework i was sitting in front of logic trying to make tracks and i pulled it off somehow. you dont need grades to make music, you dont need them to produce, you dont need to study music or production. just do your thing. however it is very important to get grades

@thebeattourist Not everyone just wants a bass beat... Sure 4/4 beats are easy but Trance ISN'T about bass beats, thats what Dubstep is for. There are trance songs with very complex melodies that convey a sense of emotion, something you wouldn't understand.
