  • im sorry, but as a barista i cant take you seriously with that starbucks apron on. ;P lol actually this is rather helpful to use with my il primo as i can never afford a lamarzocco or genasco... thanks!

  • You are a legend. Thank-you!

  • Hey Brother:) It is good that you are happy with your Espresso Method...Enjoy..thats the main thing...All the best from Germany..Paul

  • Regarding other comments -- okay, I'll bite, why isn't it espresso? It forces very hot water under pressure through finely ground coffee, doesn't it?

    Bill, thanks for the video!

  • Oh, look, look! Cookie just escaped from the Army.

For a how-to guide on how to make a very similar espresso, see "Black Adder".

  • This made me cry.

For real espresso search for -Coffeegeeks review of speedster-

  • Thanks! I have this same machine and I appreciate the suggestions!

  • That is not an espresso machine lololol

  • Oh for the love of all that is good and holy. WHAT just happened there?

  • This is really dissapointing. An espresso cup and a Starbucks apron can't help make your "espresso" look official at all. Some better information will help! Head over to coffeegeek...

  • There is so much wrong with this, I don't know where to start...

    Perfect espresso?

    Where?

  • While this machine really doesn't make espresso, it can' make a great lil strong coffee, much like a stovetop mokapot. OTOH, the thing'll steam milk like a pro! Well, with practice, pretty good, anyway.

This 'lesson', however, is a bit of a disservice. Well meaning, I'm sure, Bill, but there is a raft of research out there about coffee. You should avail yourself of some of it before you post a teaching video.

  • Dude, that's not an espresso, and that's not an espresso machine...

  • nice demo, but sorry to say, you aint making espresso, that has to be a 25sec (+/-5sec) of 1.5 US fluid ounces pour, hence the shotglass as a time measurement tool. ;)

  • and a good espresso always comes with a thick hazlebrown cream that can hold a sugerlayer at least a couple secs.
