That's so mean! If someone really needed a hug, looks, gender, nothing, should have mattered. The reason they think it's so odd because there is no affection or connection between strangers anymore, everyone lives in their own little world and walks around with a shield around themselves.

Yeah I completely agree. Imagine if you went to the bus stop, a subway, etc, and if you made eye contact with someone, they said Good Morning/Afternoon, and then hugged you? That would be awesome. But that's impossible to see in reality..

This reminds me of something that happened yesterday, It made me almost hate people. Well not really but I was on the bus, sitting in the very back, and this lady got on with a wheel chair and stuff, and she was rummaging through her purse and I saw her watch fall out of her bag and she didn't notice, but the people around her did, they looked at it, then looked away as if not noticing it, I mean, how selfish is that?! So I got up and walked to the other side of the bus and picked it up and

handed it to her, and she thanked me and called me kind and stuff, and as I turned around I stared down the people and I said, "I know you saw it" and they looked away with a look of shame on their face and walked back to my seat. I hope that served a friggin lesson to them, because that shows that people don't even have common sense/courtesy anymore. -Sigh- It makes me wonder you know?
