Valkyria Chronicles - Ending part two(/?)

One of few games which I'd trade a leg to keep if given an option between the two. Art is more valuable ..... I just started playing this again after being shelved for over a year,, on chapter 15 again, and the experiance is just as powerful as before.

I just finished the game like 3 or 4 days ago now I REALLY can't wait for the sequel to come out.I loved the ending,if one reads the personal bio on Welkin and Alicia's daughter it even says she came out EXACTLY like Welkin(Her Father)she loved nature since she was born...yup thats Welkin alright! lol

Producing a sequel to something of this calibre would most likely be disastrous. The game as well as the anime does such an INCREDIBLE job to make you feel for them that they become immortalized by the time the ending comes. To make any sort of sequel is first and foremost to top the story, characters and relations of squad 7 before it gets embraced by the public ... and that is very unlikely considering how well this one was made. I for one hope it doesn't have a sequel.

I'd like to hope Sega give themselves plenty of time to figure out how to craft this game to be greater than the first. And that's going to be difficult.

The fact that only 39,000 copies were sold in North America is a shame.

The ending was great because of the music.

If you really start listening to the melody at 8:30, the violin and piano set a perfect texture for the ending of the game.

The instruments are playing a happy and sad melody. We are sad to see the game coming to an end, but we are able to see that the characters were all happy in the end.

I just completed the game and unlocked some minor character endings, but I also can't use those characters from the final battle any more. Is it one of those things where you unlock their epilogue at the price of not being able to use them again?

a conflict in gallia by a new enemy and isara will discover her power wich her parents tried to keep in Secret because of the dangerous Valkyrie-Flame ^^

lol same here, i honestly cant wait for it, even if they screw it up.

someone can easily screw up the anime but I think since it's gonna be an actual series and not an OVA then it will follow the game really well, and there will be at least a few minor parts that werent in the game or they skipped but that wont be so bad.

I have to agree with historyman101 as well. The game was simply awesome, and the ending was beautiful. I didn't want it to end as the credits started to roll because I had become so attached to the characters. I wanted to continue to further see what life held in store for them. I do know they're making an anime for it coming out in Spring of 09. Whether it's a retelling of the game events, or a sequel, I'm not sure. Apparently there is also a manga series started in Japan as well. :)

actually I think theres 2 mangas,ones a yaoi manga and the other follows the game. I'm not possitive on that but I've been checking this stuff and it seems like its true.

Gotta agree with Historyman101, SO going to get this game, i wonder what happens if a member of the squad dies, would the entire ending be different? I.E Logan dies, or if god forbids alicia dies how does the ending go?
