  • BCCI will get the 100% accurate technology.....

  • I have a serious question for all Indian cricket fans. Now I am a fan of several Indian players, I am not racist. I even proudly display Tendulkar's autograph in my collection, and have fond memories of meeting him. But tell me, can you, in all honesty, tell us that your board doesn't have too much power in the game? Can you argue that technology would not make a positive impact on decision accuracy? With all due respect do you realise that your board is mocked and laughed at all over the world?

  • @tazziedevil123 We do and we also helplessly viewed the 'great white nations' aka England and Australia dominate ICC for half a decade, arguing against neutral umpires, 8 balls an over, body-line bowling etc. while at the same time insulting other boards all the time. Times have changed mate, tables have turned, whether you like it or not the new bully in the town is India and they contribute 66% of the total revenue of ICC.

  • @tazziedevil123 Just wait for the old timers of BCCI (who were the ones humiliated in times past) to leave, just like how the rest of the world had to wait for the snobbish, 'elitist' aristocrats from England and Australia to leave. Good luck until then.

  • @vishyvikranth OK, point well made. But why does anybody have to bully anybody? The point Michael Holding is trying to make is that there needs to be a governing body above ALL cricket boards, similar to FIFA in soccer, that has total control over all cricket boards. It is fair to say that due to the revenue India generate, they have become bullies, and are far too arrogant. No country, money or not, should dictate the game. It is the powerless ICC, and the way it is exploited, that annoys me.

  • @tazziedevil123 Well I know how powerless ICC is, and I absolutely am against any single board dominating the ICC. For one, I hate the way Test cricket has been pushed back (Test Championship) and I have to blame BCCI and ACB for their greed in this matter. But, point is nobody can do a thing about it, the players associations of other sports are powerful enough to challenge their respective boards, but this aint the same in cricket.

  • @tazziedevil123 I really wish the players could stand up against their boards with regards to scheduling. Too much of cricket is being played in too many formats and the sad thing is that Test Cricket is the one format suffering. In India when the captain himself spoke against it, the board merely suggested him and other senior players to take a break and replaced them for the series. The only way to turn this around is through players banding together refusing to play.

  • @tazziedevil123 But then again, even in countries like America where the player associations are strong, we have seen them lockout (refuse to play) a full season, only to wilt under the pressure (financial) and cave in to the demands of the owners / boards. All I'm saying is that money does the ultimate talking and in the process the sports becomes a pure business, sad that this is the way the world works in our 'modern' times. I don't see a solution tbh.

  • @vishyvikranth Mate can I just say, it is really refreshing to have a passionatee cricket fan that can hold a civil, well written argument. Congrats for not attacking me with profanity and racism, as so many others have on other posts. All I'm after is a that the game of cricket not suffer because of any crap on any one countries behalf, and India are starting to show signs of being that country these days. I agree with everything you say. Lets hope for common sense to prevail!

  • at 3:06 she got thirsty hearing him talk crap!

  • Holding has only supported BCCI's view on DRS! The reason why BCCI declined it is because of the projected path !! Hawk eye let itself down in England-India series when it was not able to detect what snicko detected..

  • Alec Stewart/Mark Waugh/Shane Warne was guilty of taking money from bookies and providing them with pitch/weather condition. No one was banned. Ajay Jadeja was banned by BCCI for life for same thing.

  • @matsharma dont forget Herschell gibbs he agreed to take part in fixing with cronje but after a slap on the wrist was allowed to resume his career

  • England/Australia/NZ/SA/ are getting taste of their own medicine....

  • Michael Holding is still upset that they lost the World Cup in 1983. Hence the venom against India. Also, when the English had the power and controlled the game, it was okay. Now when the balance has shifted, people grumble. Let them. India Rocks.

  • So, I was against BCCI stand against the use of technology (I am an Indian). But, I wouldn't go as far as holding and other mocking BCCI. I guess, its 'in' to blast south asian countries, especially India and complain about BCCI having too much power. I guess, holding and everyone should apologize to BCCI, after they have proved that the tech. is not there yet and it was being shoved down the throats with corrupt ppl from ICC and the firms. How does that crow taste now?

  • BCCI is whining about the DRS again

  • @sonofthedestroyer no, not BCCI, but simon taufel and other umpires did... read some news.

  • @shawnify100: Don't want to know what you do with your "Ballz" mate. That info you keep to yourself. The life that you are talking about, how about spending some time learning basic rules of punctuation's before getting into an argument. When you make a point, at least make sure its understandable. I agree on making the game better tho.

  • @zsquaresoff lol smart guy the errors i made have nothing to do with "punctuation".You really showed a great deal of interest in the way i use my "ballz"....Anyway what is so wrong with using the DRS?Most ppl i talk to shared the same opinion "India is trying to protect they batsmen" but i think the reason y India don't want to use the DRS is because when they lose they will have one less excuse.

  • @shawnify100: It took you 3 weeks to come up with a reply. Like I said "ballz instead of brains"

  • @zsquaresoff i have a life i don't spend all my time on youtube,i spend some of my time using my "ballz"instead.the context in which you use the word "professionally" shows a lack of intelligence. The professional thing to do is make the game better.Smart guy you should that the "S" of "brains"

  • that football analogy is the stupidest comment I have heard from this guy. If you know anythig about football, its Europe that controls the game!

anyway your country just give a damn about you, who the hell appointed You in cricket committee? This host is a notorious racist commentator from channel 9 team so I am not surprised...lolz

ofcourse holding want to give the game to his owner! Right?

  • well he is dead rite, india have money power and that needs to be sorted out before it goes out of hands.

  • Holding is 100% right

  • @shawnify100: You have a point of view, so do I. India dominates world cricket because 80% of the financial wealth comes from India and the Indian people. Its only natural to have some sort of a command over thing you have invested in. Instead of looking at it passionately, look at it professionally. But I doubt you are capable of making that distinction because you clearly use your ballz instead of your brains.

  • @zsquaresoff like i said you are indian and i understand your point of view.....i have 1 question...If ICC make it mandatory 4 all international matches to use DRS,will india fans stop watching cricket??how can some1 call them self a fan and don't want to better the game. Was the DRS the reason why England trash India,,,was it a whitewash???LOL

  • All that said, take a bow, Michael Holding, sir!

  • If people are under the impression that India has supremacy in the game of cricket, that is fine, but it counts for the game ITSELF alone, if anything. As far as management and political influences on the game are concerned though, India has decayed and dictated the whole thing.

Look what's happened only recently to the SLPL. It just shows how much undeserved power a single board of a single country has acquired, and just how they exercise it: in an arrogant, biased manner of a dictatorship.

  • mike holding is jealous of indian supremacy in cricket. the days of west indies are gone.

  • BCCI rules. ICC is a mere slave!

  • @M4st3rm1nd,

ICC now stands for Indian Cricket Council

  • West Indies dominated for 15 years and England still put in the 1 bouncer law LOL THAT was ' funny '

  • Holding is absolutely right. BCCI is killing the concept of fair play. They look like luddites denying technology. Besides if the ICC bans Test cricketers from the IPL, the whole show will collapse.

  • Michael Holding is right. I am an Indian supporter, but I think its bad for cricket if the ICC is controled by one cricket board. They could kill the sport if they screw things around too much.

  • @aliahsan257 Point accepted that two wrongs do not make a right, the point i made then and reiterate now is that, it is a natural cycle, the ebbs and troughs of power and clout... as for fairness and being right... life has always had its not so fair moments when viewed in smaller scales of time....

  • Michael Holding is a slave of the English.

  • @FlyingPig1902....hahah....another stinky indian who couldnt take take the truth!..Welldone Micheal Holding you are right the whole world is up for the DRS other than India...fuck them, should play with DRS which is the best system we have right now

  • @crazybones2009

Jeez, such hostility. Is Michael Holding your father or something? Wouldn't surprise me to know that he has spawned a snidey little cunt like you.

  • @FlyingPig1902....I guess Sharad Pawar must be ur father then, u stinky cunt

  • @crazybones2009

Haha, how about showing more originality in your next comeback? BTW, if you have a problem with 'stinky cunts' on the internet, you must really despise your mother in real life... :-(

  • @FlyingPig1902....The answer is NO...cos my mother isnt indian, but i guess u must not only despise ur mother ur whole fucking smelly country cos its full of curry munching indians like u!!..Indian cricket board is rich only because u have a billion population and obviously all the US companies gonna jump at any opportunity to sell their products...its called corporate marketing...but fucking poor beggar indians like u talk as if like they had money from the beginning...bloody slumdogs.

  • @crazybones2009

ROFLMAO, so much hostility against Indians!! I am sure Michael Holding isn't the only father you have, some Indians must have banged your mother, AKA Mrs. 'Stinky Cunt', as well. Maybe that explains your frustration? Speaking of beggars, what do you make of the news about Sri Lanka not being able to afford the DRS system today? hahaha, at only $5000 a day, maybe your daddy Michael Holding can take a pay cut...

  • @FlyingPig1902...well your birth is actually a collaboration of Sharad Power, Lalit Modi a BCCI gangbang....dont beleive it? ask ur mother..LMAO...why u telling me abt sri lanka its not even my country, they can pay or not is not my concern at all, as long they obey the ICC rules...but im preety sure they are better off than this shit fuckin country called india. Nothing like seeing an indian getting hammered in here by the punks and Maoris....scared lil curries screams like lil bitches..hahaha

  • @crazybones2009

Yawn. You're still here, mongtard?? Stop stalking me man, go tell your 'stinky cunt' mother to take a shower, I can fucking smell her all the way from over here. Fuck's sake man.

  • @FlyingPig1902.....why you yawing?...getting used to ur moms pussy smell i guess...hahaha...yea yea...now go and fuck ur self before going to sleep...lol

  • @crazybones2009

Man, if you're gonna keep replying to me, at least come up with something a bit wittier instead of just copying everything i say. I can see that you are a little dull, but at least put some effort into it. Michael Holding wouldn't be too happy if he were to see your piss poor attempts at defending him.

  • @FlyingPig1902...hahaha...actually u are the one who started copies what I said now why u saying it was me...wats wrong with you? talking factually whatever micheal holding said was right and you just couldn't handle the truth, if india is trying to run cricket like they are running their government which comprises of crooks and with so much corruption...cricket wont ever be the gentlemens game that we all loved...cricket was soo much fun to watch in the 90's now thanks to india not anymore

  • @crazybones2009

Awww, really? You sound seriously bothered about that. If that's the case, then now might be a good time to kill yourself. Your death would send a powerful message to the ICC. Good luck.

  • @FlyingPig1902.....nah its funnier when everyone says fuck off to india, so u can watch dhoni bowling to ashish nehra...lol

  • She has nice legs :)

  • This lecture is such a farce! "Spirit of Cricket" more like Lets Bash the BCCI lecture! Pathetic!

  • Bcci can go screw itself, I barely watch cricket anymore these days and soon it will be only 1 billion Indians remaining cricket audience and even then they aren't able to fill up half of the stadium for a test match.

  • Damm gud frr INDIA

  • Holding doesnt know that ECB is firing gun on his shoulder.. poor holding can do anything for england citizenship...

  • U guys cant change a thing ,, get use to get bullied and be prepared to whine together ...

  • Can somebody dictate the direction to the DOOR, to our friend Mr. Holding

  • the football analogy is completely stupid.it is true that brazil dominated but only on the fied.the money power lied elsewhere.not the case with bcci.not that i am supporting bcci.

  • @marutiraghuveer: but remember, after the SCG test, India have been on the receiving end of several favourable umpiring decisions because umpires are scared they will be fired if they get a couple of LBW's wrong. Now umpires think twice before getting Sachin LBW

  • @paramsuman2 Lets stick to wats spoken in the video. Every team has its fair bit of luck and hardluck. No denying. But in what way can DRS be a threat to the world champions!?!?? Illogical.

Indian's have been 'terrible' victims of bad decisions (even in the 1st test, ongoing Windies series) and they have to be the first team to vouch for it. And talking abt Sachin, he took the large share of those bad decisions. BCCI was never against the idea of DRS but against certain technology being used.

  • FUCK Indian FUCK FUCK FUCK OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Son of bitches! Indian motherfuckers! Indian gay cunts! FUCK OFF all the fucking Indians!

  • @sunethchat hey relax man. Your mom and sisters were complaining about your temper last night as we lay together and I was gently stroking their pussies. After that they slept peacefully. I gave them a few extra bucks keeping in mind you're unemployed. Relax!!

  • I agree on the DRS bit but Holding talks a lot of crap about BCCI afterwards.

If Brazil starts producing 75% of world football revenue with 70% of the worlds football watching audience then maybe they can have a bit more power.

  • The truth is bastards like this michael holding are holding their balls and plate due to the old boys network which has since vanished due to india's emergence!

holding take your hawkeye camera n your tainted views nshove it up your black bum!!! LOL! U ozzie bastards n your black "holding" stooges are going to change the status quo in Cricket? Don't think so as without India u buggers are nothing but poor beggars with begging plates! LOL

  • As an Indian, my initial reaction is to feel a bit outraged against this almost combined onslaught against.

However, on calmer reflection, i guess there's some sense in what Holding's saying about India and DRS. I really doubt that it has anything to do with protecting Indian batsmen. Tendulkar/Dhoni would be appalled at that!

Whether FIFA is the same way as ICC or not is immaterial. Indeed if we were to go by what's happening in FIFA right now, it appears they're even worse!

  • Michael Holding should be the last to talk about integrity, We all know how BRITISH he has become nowadays and that he spends 95% of his time in the UK. I am surprised that he even remembers the small nation of Jamaica in the Caribbean. He should actually talk about how miserable and broken the West Indies cricket board is rather than spewing curses on the BCCI. Talk about irony !!

  • @starjay009 Why do you guys think that by making a personal attack on Michael Holding's perfectly legal line of work you can obscure the valid point he is making here. He has every right to work in England like thousands of other South Asians. How do you know he doesn't bother himself with the state of West Indian cricket? Do you stay with him 24/7? When a number of West Indian players are going to choose to play for IPL over the national side don't you think he has a right to feel aggreived?

  • Well where were these morons Holding and Mark Nicolas when the WHITIES where dominating world cricket and RUINING lives of entire peoples during colonial times ???? compared to that bull crap the BCCI's influence in world cricket is like chicken shit. I hope my Pakistani and Sri Lankan brethren take note for they too were victims of the rotten imperialism. The ECB is like a whiny old man and doesn't accept that India is the super power of world cricket. They could only sit around and argue.

  • India is controlling cricket. It's not a world game.Stupid people like Sharad Pawar who know horseshit about cricket are presidents of ICC.What more can I say.

India should push for the DRS,it's better than the umpire's decision when needed and it has the error eliminating system where it will stand by the umpire if it's more than 2.5 cm.What the heck if it doesn't have hotspot.India is ruining cricket.Indian cricket should be de-privatized for it's own good.I'm Indian by d way b4 u pounce on me

  • Beautifully said Mr. Holding...and yes BCCI is the scum of the earth. It's a shame really. Administration-wise, India is very much a third-world country, its like one of those banana-republics which has looted its people and has lots of money in its coffers. Unfortunately, its the same money, which is using as a carrot to make other countries dance to its tune. Maybe the average Indian has lost his/her sense of justice and fairness.

  • @ianghose1: I know India is a third world country but being from that 'third world' country you have also shown 'third rated' attitude with your comments. Don't f**king blame every Indian for the BCCI's lackluster standards dude and NO India ain't a banana republic either. Separate the BCCI from the real India ok ?!

  • Asian countries, till recently, had no say and western countries would impose anything they wanted. Now they are feeling the heat with power base shifting. India will like to play cricket India-way and till it's fair; if the west has problems then so be it.

If you see carefully, what they are cribbing about is that India didn't accept ICC diktat. Michael is saying that whatever ICC proposes is all correct and should be accepted by all cricket playing countries. Dictator days of ICC are over.

  • Steve Smith is better than Michael Holding..Holding is too over rated....

  • the only place where India is a sort of superpower!! :)

  • Where were all these people barking when the english and aussies use to "dictate" terms. Now they cant stand a non white country is "dictating" them. I am not against technology.....it should be brought in the game if its accurate.

"protecting there players" what the heck.........how many runs did the top three from india have. They dont need anyone to protect their wicket.........

  • I've lost a lot of respect for holding after watching this.. the man talks about integrity and criticizes the BCCI severely when he himself kisses the ass of the ECB and works as a commentator in England! he knows which way his bread is buttered! I've never heard him criticize the ECB's policies or criticise Eng players..

    Shame on u Holding!

  • @sckfgbdjf

Why would he criticize the ECB and it's players when they did no wrong and are clean.Talk sense my friend. The BCCI is controlling world cricket the way India wants it.It's a sport,it's not India's private property.

  • @KINGMJ1990: The ECB and its players CLEAN ??? don't play coy dude. The ECB is the best known board for its hypocrisy and narrow mindedness. We all know about the ECB's dirty little secret with regards to the Stanford scandal and the repeated obstruction and red taping of its players from participating in the IPL when MANY English cricketers wish to do so. In this regards the BCCI is only being 'normal' in terms of cricket administration and they ain't saints either.

  • @KINGMJ1990

The IPL pays the players and not the boards and all English cricketers don't want to play the IPL and also the IPL is held only when India doesn't have any international fixtures while England always have matches that time so they want theit best players to play for them.Wat's wrong?while the stanford series was plain business where the winning board and players get a lot of money and we know that the ECB is not as rich as the BCCI.the ECB hardly has any say in the ICC meetings.

  • @KINGMJ1990

U need 2 get yr facts right mate.. England controlled world cricket for many years and so did Australia in the 70-80's..Holding should be the last one criticizing the BCCI as his own country's board is in shambles, but I guess he probably doesn't care about WI any more since he's now in Eng (wonder if he's got his citizenship yet? lol!)

  • and where does Marck Nicholas get off by insinuating that BCCI doesnt approve haw-eye to "protect its best players"!? heck, they were were at the receiving end of bad umpiring decisions too!

  • Comment removed

  • Mark Nicolas is always a Bias in his thoughts, always Appreciate Aus and Eng and criticizes Sub Continents Player about this and that.

What Indian Board has done for cricket, Aus and Eng will never going to do that in their dream, If they are thinking that IPL is killing the Cricket then Why ICC is giving/agreeing a separate Window for it, thats means they are also wanted a Pie on the IPL's income as IPL gave some % to Players Borad as well as to ICC.

  • Oprah:Why did you stop coming to the bar for drinks dear?Given that you have climbed everest, and 99.9% men would not be able to say that !Hah!(clap..clap..) what unique perspectives you could've shared on whether hillary or norgay was the first man on everest"Guest:"I and a few mountaineer friends thought Tenzing. BCCI said Hillary.I heard a few BCCI ppl calling our bar just a "Bar". Well if its just a bar,I have better things to do.I stopped going there for good.(sob..sob...) .. evil BCCI"

  • Oprah:"Oops, was i thinking out loud?(no no no ... women do not dream politicaly incorrect dreams ... clap..clap...)Oprah: Hate the newly rich!Hate Men and all things evil (clap...clap.."Yeah")

  • Oprah:Oh these sissy breed of noveu rich men .. flaunting their wealth and influence with such vulgarity and not happy with 95% of the truth...you tell me WMD in iraq was 100% false but did we cry ourself hoarse over it ? Sissy men.But men are evil (clap..clap..).We had run the show for so long ... ah those glory days of vetoes in icc for england and australia... !"

  • Oprah:Do you think men try to dictate. Is it to protect their assets? Guest: I cannot speculate and hence won't comment on that. But my hubby's not one of "those" men.You see he has learned that there is about 95% chance that a ball will not hit him in the groin in his entire career and he has decided to do away with the "Box".No harm done to his assets as yet!

  • BCCI is a fucking board, they r shameless, they don't understand anything except themselves.they visit Bangladesh 4/5 times but they r not willing to host Ban for a single time.they r shameless.Ban have to boycott this fucking team....

  • @ziauddinahmedhimu... hahahaha.. Bangladesh has to boycott the Indian team? Dude anger is not good for the mind. Please try to make sense of what you are saying. And seriously, Bangladesh should start performing otherwise their test status should be revoked. They are a pathetic team and have been "building" for a decade now. Ireland should be the one given test status coz they are worthy not Bangladesh. Don't jump on the bandwagon of BCCI bashing just because everybody else is doing it.

  • @LovePeaceBeer Vai Look Back When, & How much time India Took to win their first test?be shamed,U cant tell who have to play test or not,BCCI think they buy ICC,In 2013 ICC Precedent will be from Bangladesh,Then India have to host Bangladesh,In 2007 WC India gone out of the tournament by loosing against this pathetic team, IPL destroying the players,Like gayle, mallinga, pollard,First all board have to boycott Ipl First,India is always strict on their cause,

  • @ziauddinahmedhimu.. first of all bro, for how long will you be stuck with the 2007 WC victory over India. We have played another World Cup after that. Secondly, I was talking about Tests and not ODIs, so please stick to the point. Third, IPL is destroying players?? Are you kidding me?? Is IPL forcing players to play? No!! IPL has money?? Oh hell yeah!! International players make themselves available or not. BCCI has no control over International Players playing in IPL or not.

  • @ziauddinahmedhimu.. continued... so this means the International players are greedy and have to correct their morals by putting Country before Money. It is the player's problem if they miss their International assignment because of IPL. Stop blaming BCCI for everything.

  • @LovePeaceBeer Then When BCCI is not giving permission their players to play in Srilankan league?I m telling u that,if players started playing this kind of league ,the great Indian players will also be greedy, not only India every board or franchisee of the world has some money to buy players,I told u previously that BCCI is a selfish board of the world.u have to agree with me.man.they dont want progress of cricket, tell me1 valid reason to not invite Ban & Zim in India?

  • @ziauddinahmedhimu.. Well, it is the ICC which plans the FTP(Future Tour Program) and not BCCI. So it is not BCCI's fault if Ban and Zim are not invited to India. And if you want to know the reasons behind BCCI not allowing Indian players in SLPL, was because of contracts of International Players held by a private company and not by SLC. Plus there was a time crunch as well. So SLPL is going to be held next year with Indian, Bangladeshi etc. players also participating. BCCI has no problems now.

  • Respond to this video... contt...If the same thing happened with India earlier, was it possible for India to be ranked no. 1 test team of the world?

  • Oprah: So you have any sympathy with "men".

Guest: Not at all, they are evil (clap...clap..clap..).. neither men nor women should dictate terms in the family. Oprah: "So the kids should dictate ?"Guest:"It should be mutual". I never saw my darling husband dictate to his secretary though he could have, he was very powerful you know."Oprah: "So why didn't he?"Guest:"Well he's dumb you see. Bob of finance does his bidding though.I have seen bob dictating to my hubby's secretary many a times ...

  • What's the point of this discussion when there is no one from India who is able to explain the BCCI position on DRS ball tracking? This lecture just looks like a cheap platform to do some India bashing.... Holding and the joker (who is he?) hosting this ridiculous show should be ashamed of themselves.

  • Kiss BCCI ass you all fools.. We Indians know whay u fuckkers crying...Mark Nicolas is a such stupid to ask if BCCI is protecting its sr. players...

    Kiss ass and shut up

  • Brazil analogy is a failed one. The financial center of football has always been Europe and England. So, as BCCI dominates the ICC via revenue so does the Europe dominate FIFA.

  • Cricket didn't grow much in the 1980's when Eng and Aus were in charge of the game. There were meaningless 5 match series featuring Eng, Aus and WI. People need to realize the fact that what Australia and England did in the 80's, is now being done by India post 2007. You dropped the ball, someone else picked it up and ran with it. Michael holding sounds like a man who still hasn't gotten over the 1983 World Cup loss to India.

  • @zsquaresoff over it u twat!! what the guy said was facts,India have 2 much power they shouldnt b able to dictate.......away if u r Indian it wouldn't b hard to understand your point of view

  • Feck you hodling. Just hold your willy and swing it to the English balls.

  • Holding agrees to the Indian stand that tracking the ball's path after it has hit the pad or bat is unreliable, which is effectively BCCI's stand. However, still cribs about India. He is just obeying his employers -- who are Sky TV that covers the English Cricket season. This just shows why decisions are conspired against Indians. And when we make noise, these buggers start crying by stating that BCCI is ruling and all the shit.

  • Welcome to the world of BCCI dominance - so anybody who has any problems with that .. suck it up .. and like Michael Holding .. move on to "better things" in life

  • thumbs up if cricinfo brought you here

  • drs is some crap technology! we have umpires for a reason so trust em!! i agree it is good technology but if a team doesnt want it then they dont have to have it..

  • india wc champions!! all the rest of u r some looser people! wheres WI in cricket now?? shut up holding!!

  • Very one sided debate. If you can't deal with the Powerhouse BCCI has become, then suck it up. Nobody cared when England and Australia were the powerhouses. Stop acting like crybabies and don't give me that "Two wrongs don't make a right" BULL CRAP!!! Sick of all of you crybabies. Live with the reality or leave it just like we did not a long time ago. Hypocrites!!

  • Can not understand why only Indians are super sensitive to DRS system when other boards and players are OK. Agreed its not 100% correct, but the same is true about any *live* technology. e.g. traffic signalling system. should we demand that civic administration guys perfect the system before putting it to use. Technology improves as it is used over times .... can attest to that with a fair amount of confidence being a technologist myself

  • With due respects to Mihael Holding...these are all assumed calculations,by a personnel.BCCI didnt object to Hot Spot or Snicko Meter..they have proved that they are 100% right on their predictions.Thats waht tendular said, get the calculations right and we will support the system.I mean, these India bashing and BCCI foul mouthing is becoming a fashion these days...I seriously wish, that Indian team on theri next tour really kick these british ass....

  • For instance, they argued that Hawk-Eye may struggle with predicting the curved trajectory of a cricket ball after bouncing: the time between a ball bouncing and striking the batsman may be too short to generate the three frames (at least) needed to plot a curve accurately. The article also argued that Hawk-Eye's depiction of line decisions in tennis ignored such factors as the distortion of the ball on bouncing and the less-than-complete precision with which the lines on the court are drawn.

  • In 2008, an article in a peer-reviewed journal[25] consolidated that Hawk eye was probably fallible, and that its failure to depict a margin of error gave a spuriously accurate depiction of events. The authors also argued that the probable limits to its accuracy were not acknowledged by players, officials, commentators or spectators, who treated it as depicting unchallengeable truth.

  • Strauss and Nicholas were just babies then! Yes Australia and England dominated things for years that does not make it right then or now. Then we could perhaps argue there was no alternative available but now we know better and have more equality in the world so let a governing body govern fairly and impartially?

Revenge and jealousy are so destructive I guess the world will never be whole.

  • Well said Mikey.

  • If these guys have a problem, live with it!!!! BCCI doesn't care what Holding says, he can say a thousand things!

  • It is an Utopian world, where every one is equal, yesterday it was aus and eng, today India...you can lump it or leave it. As for holding i am sure there is lot he does not understand... one sided debate, no one representing India's point of view

  • @agmenon73 Just because aus and eng had influence in cricket back in the day doesn't mean its India's turn now. Just because men dominated society in the past does not mean that women should have more control in the future. Justice is not done by doing two wrongs.

  • I definitely do not like BCCI dominating world cricket other than the players by their talent. Micheal Holding is spot on abt everything but india's stand on DRS.

Mark Nicholas is stupid to ask if BCCI is protecting its players. Utter rubbish. Indian players often have been victims of the most outrageous umpiring decisions and shud be vouching for DRS. But they are not convinced with certain technology; later they agreed to it with hotspot being made mandatory.

  • @marutiraghuveer I think it is time to embrace the technology. But I still believe that you can't have a hybrid of human and technology. You either stick to humans or let technology make the decision. I am fine either way, but that 2.5 ft rule or what ever it is.. there's no place for that kind of nonsense.

  • @marutiraghuveer Spot on. But logic and reason are mostly absent from these discussions. Holding saying no country should have too much power. I.e, no Asian country should ..... only white people should have too much power. Mikey's attitude is fairly typical subservient attitude from a has been cricketer who depends on Sky to pay his bills and has ditched his own team for a British passport . Btw, look at him hitting on Clare Connor ! Bet Mikey played at deep extra cover all night long.....

  • The English and the Australians dominated the way cricket was run for years...people like Mark Nicholas,Andrew Strauss didn't seem to have a problem then!

  • i am indian but i clearly agree with this video

  • @supercoolstar007.. people like you didn't mind licking Aussies and English feet when they were in power. Way to go my friend. Your slave mentality will never go away.

  • @LovePeaceBeer u knw smthng if u dnt knw english lemme clear dis i wrote this comment in support for Micahel.

and who are u to judge any Race, u must be either english or aussie who write crap and i have no problem with aussie or english coz i am from australia and aussies are most chilled ppl and same goes for english ppl so u better stfu

  • @supercoolstar007.. bla bla bla.. I understood what you wrote and hence the reply. i still maintain what I said earlier.

  • Michael Holding is right.....India are being bullies!!

  • @malharkabir.. suck it up then!! Don't be a crybaby.

  • @LovePeaceBeer Calm down man! I was just giving my opinion.

  • @malharkabir.. It's been 5months buddy. I calmed down one day after my reply to you :-)

  • Indians are always loosers!

  • @jeeten6982, firstly it is spelled loser, secondly dude you are embarrassing the rest of us by abusing michael holding!

  • Of course! So far 2 Indians must have watched this! lol Indians fans are a bunch of pathetic human beings! I'm a Sri Lankan who lives in Australia and had enough dramas with these pathetic assholes! Not only every 'TRUE' Sri Lankan but also people who love Cricket know what really happened in the Cricket WC final 2011! Sri Lanka was forced to give away the match to the Indians! (Of course otherwise when in defeat, Indians will burn their players homes :P )

  • @sunethchat.. hahaha.. you are just like a typical Sri Lankan, who can still not digest the World Cup defeat you received from our hands. Booo hooo!!! You call us assholes?? Alright.. if we pee on Sri Lanka, you will have a Tsunami. Nobody cares about Sri Lanka. Go and get your house in order before joining in the band wagon of BCCI bashing you dick head. Sinhalese bastard!!!

  • @sunethchat Kiss Indians ass u fool

  • Mike holding is a looser... Keep on crying .. u cant do anything more than that..

  • BCCI is being a bully - Agreed

Stepping down from the ICC Committee - Justified

BUT if you are not going to use Hawkeye for the projected path, then what are you going to use it for? Isn't that the same as India's stand?

Mark Nicholas saying "protecting players" & holding saying "could be" ... Total B.S.!

  • India definitely seems to be using its power like a bully in the ICC. Every Indian knows how things work in such situations within India; those in power do what they want and if you're lucky with your connections or pay a lot of money, you have access to and can benefit from their decisions.

Indians or not, let's not pretend we don't know what is going on here.

  • Lot of propaganda against India.. After watching this, I think BCCI was right in opposing the DRS in its earlier form. It is totally illogical to compare FIFA with ICC. There are >150 countries who play FB while hardly 20 countries who play Cricket. This whole show is a farce. "Could it be anything to do with protection of their best players?" - what the hell does the host mean by that?

These pple are just trying to get some cheap mileage by making such statements and getting public applause.

  • @nayan84

Farce? Really? BCCI has been arm twisting every single Board and has increasingly become a "gunda" after the IPL. Have to agree with Michael Holding on everything he said (except the Eng-Pak match).

BCCI has done the right thing with DRS, its not 100% accurate. Once Hawkeye becomes permanent it is going to be the "Bible" when projecting the trajectory of the ball, players, umpires and VIEWERS are going to follow it blindly. Hence it needs to be accurate 100 times in 100 instances.

  • @esppsp Yes It really is a Farce. I agree that BCCI is the bully and they are wrong with what they have done related to IPL. However, if you look at this particular video, they are criticizing its stance on DRS. Their arguments are flawed and aimed just to win public applause. Even if you see the other parts of this video, all three of them (Sanga/Holding/Host) speak things which seem sensational but are actually pointless and downright lies. That is why i said, this whole show is a FARCE

  • i m talking abt the fact that he always supports the english which may be right or wrong

  • he is a same old slave to english as he want his sky broadcast contract unharmed

  • @akhilraaj suck it up dude!!! he is telling the truth!!!

  • Michael Holding...so correct...and well said!

  • I am an Indian but I fully support Micheal Holding.. I pressed LIKE as well

  • whats the bet everyone who dislikes this video is gonna be indian :)

  • @srinath990 nope i liked the video .............BCCI and its Players like to live in Stone age

  • @srinath990.. of course it will be an Indian you moron!! What else do you think should happen??

  • haha weldone Mikey..
