Hahahaha, Kenne who? That would be Kenne Bell. That engine is being fed 11psi for 350odd rwkw??????? Guess that's a great example of blowing a hi compression Boss engine. 13 or 14 grand for 100rwkw sucks big ones.
BPT in Perth have full R&D whipple kits and are getting 400+ rwkW with 10-11 pounds so let's not get excited. I ran 9lbs of Kenny Bell on an AU5l and pulled 306rwkW (see Perth Street car mag) - Kenny Bell are all over whipple - more efficiant and run cooler - just ask the Mustang boys in the US.
Bluepower Racing Developments do a 10 grand kit drive in drive out for FG XR8's and im sure for all Boss 290 motors that makes 410rwkw on 9 or 10psi, thats on a Kenne Bell 2.6 :D
Perhaps all of them are. I know the bearings are better on 315 but the comp and cam combo is a little steep for decent boost, i'd rather see the piston down the bore a little for some chamber volume rather than excessive chamber pressure.
Do you think one of these YT FG 315 blower setups will see the dragstrip, I would like to see some mph's.
Even if they dont make 250 standard on your dyno, you have made 125kw/11 = 11.4kw per psi. I have seen "290" GT's make a 180rwkw gain from 230 to 410rwkw back to backed on the same dyno which equates to 18kw per psi. I just dont think the 315 is as good with a blower.
KB's claim of 11-13hp per psi is a change of boost increase when the car is already boosted. Going from naturally aspirated to boosted will bring bigger gains initially, and as you add boost the return diminishes.
I think you may be right on the 315 with forced induction, whilst you definitely can force them, they are not as well suited at the 290/260 motors. Having said that for the change in how they drive, ALL these motors are made for forced induction!
Oh,btw, my own Kenne who kit on a 9.2c/r Boss makes 460 rwkw on 11psi.

Would be interested to see what this kit would make on our dyno.

What sort of results are your customers with this kit getting on the qtr?

Kenne who?? HA! ... its ok mate I'd be upset too since the KB makes more power with less boost and with a whole lot more puff left in the bank

kenne bell sounds more hectic

Thanks for the info on the boost increase.

Kenne who?
Kenne Bell.. you know, the blowers that own ALL the Modular records in Australia!
351rwkw is pretty pissweak for 11 psi, they make 250rwkw standard. I wouldnt waste my time..... sounds nice though, must be that DiFilippo exhaust.

The Kenne who was a light hearted joke.
Firstly they dont make 250kw standard, definitely not on our dyno, but that another argument.
Look at the gain, 125kw, can't be that bad if KB themselves quote only 11-13hp per 1psi which equates to considerably less than 125kw.

I love that 'Kenne who?' comment at the end there.
