i agree with bloodybizkits cuz there were alot of games with shity graphics and were fun. look at the old pokemon games, before ruby or saphire, and had shitty graphics, but was FUN. Graphics doesnt matter, as long if you had a fun time playing it. the super mario bros. shitty graphics, was it fun? yes. BUT, i sort of agree with SJ, cuz if it were stick figures, there wuold be no use for it, unless the names were Stick Charizard or something.

If you have Heartgold, you'll eventually get Ho-oh (fire-type) and Gyrados (water-type), so Chikorita does make sense, as a grass-type.

Chikorita if used right can deal deadly damage early in the game. Can learn Sunny Day and unleash Solarbeam immediately. But it's up to the types of course

I like how Chikorita can learn Poison Powder so early in the game! Chikorita's a good Pokemon but I think people don't choose it because it's not good at attacking like Cyndaquil's a Sp. Attacking beast and Totodile is an Attacking beast. Chikorita's more of a tanks than an attacker in my opinion.

Everyone wants cool visuals in their game because half of enjoying it at all is seeing what's happening on the screen. I didn't even have to explain this in detail, it's complete common sense.

As long as it's not a piece of shit I absolutely can't see and makes me feel like I'm blind, I should be able to figure out what's on screen and the gameplay takes over from there. Pokemon Crystal wasn't the greatest looking game in the world, but it looked good enough for people to play it without trouble and enjoy it thoroughly.

Sprites, character designs, and backgrounds are all part of the graphics. That experience is part of what makes Pokemon good. What you're really saying is "As long as every video game looks the way I'm used to, the gameplay is all that matters!" What if it were black and white? What if it were polygonal and blocky? Get it now?

You just don't understand, if the gameplay fails the whole game fails. The same doesn't go for visuals. The visuals for so many great games looked pretty bad, but did anybody care? No, because the gameplay is all that mattered to them, and that's really all that matters to me.

i chose chicorita cause apperantly its the hardest route to go for the whole three. cyndaquil totadile chicorita when i beat the elite four and the champion it was just hitting 40. beat the game in 20:42 with... ho-oh meganium r.gyrados golem dragonair and ampharos. the only ones that were over 45 were ho-oh and r.gyrados the rest were between 30-40.
