We know what Ura Zelda was supposed to be, it was to be an expansion that would add new dungeons, items, quests, blah, I've made two videos on the matter so I'm not going to go over it all in the comments. Master Quest, is none of those things, it's a harder version of OOT, which is fine, but that's not Ura Zelda and them calling it Ura Zelda doesn't make it so.

Fact is, Ura Zelda the expansion was never released, and probably never will be.

@dickvieh No, Zelda OoT MQ is not Ura Zelda. MQ is just a edited version of OoT with redesigned dungeons to make them harder, Everything else in MQ and OoT was the same. Ura Zelda was a expansion to OoT which added quests, added temples, new enemies, and other things. MQ and standard OoT was the same size when ripped into a Rom format, Ura Zelda would have added to the size of Oot, not be the same size. MQ was offered just to shut the fans up.

@jstark069 I do know all about Miyamoto stating they were separate. But then again, there have been several instances where Nintendo has made false statements just to mull over the subject. Starfox 2. You even required the 4MB expansion for Majora's Mask (64DD had 4MB in the unit) So it's an obvious conversion. I don't want to start debate, It's just that I know 1st hand Nintendo makes false statements. Metroid Dread was fully completed for DS according to my friend who worked for Retro Studios.

Just to clarify, Nintendo employees have gone on record saying that "Master Quest" was in fact NOT "Ura Zelda". The actual "Ura Zelda" would have held a greater amount of content, including new abilities, items, and dungeons.

"Master Quest" was more like the updated ports you see of old console games onto handholds. Sadly, so many people really wanted to believe that MQ was UZ that it became a popular misconception that it was.

We can only hope that Nintendo will release this expansion of Ocarina of time on the 3DS this year.

It's only a few months left until the game will hit the stores so who knows if it will have the content that was intended to be used either for the expansion on the 64DD or on the earlier beta.

Actually MQ Isnt Ura Zelda per se. Ura Zelda would have let the player re-arrange dungeons and save them to the disk. From what I have read, Master Quest is the default preset before you start re-arranging.

i'm pretty sure the Arwing enemies were mostly placeholder enemies with a leftover model (YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT GAME) and wasn't meant to be included.

i think what nintendo should do next is remake oot w. tp graphics, but still stick w. the story line, same characters, same temples, same hyrule land (but make it bigger since there'll be more memory). but also put in the things that they took out, example: the ice cavern was going to be the ice temple, so add that in. personally, i think it would make alot of money and please alot of people!
