@ESCOFLiP There is a First Aid station. For heavy injury and Operations you have to go to Tahiti

So did the others die or leave the island by themselves?
They are land turtles so they do not swim.
They where forcefully removed, because they eat a lot and so they where a risk for the Islands crop and vegetation

Another question: what about the fresh water there - do they have it, and if, does it come in pipes or do they have to pump it up every time?
Nope the turtle is not endemic; she was imported from the Galapagos Islands with a few others in the 20th century. She is the only one left.
There is Fresh water and it is dependent on the rainfall. It comes in pipes to the houses from the central area
