i have seen many freestyle reunions but no c-bank along with others such strafe, manparish etc..a c-bank reunion with all members would be a great idea.
I love seeing all these classic videos of performers from these great classic tracks, without the internet I would have never seen any of them, I have heard their songs on mix tapes and etc, but never experienced a live performance of these ITALO bands back in the day.
Freestyle Needs to come back. It's sounds put you back in another place and time, when things where better and more happy go lucky. Till then i keep the Old SKool Strong pumpin in my Lasonic boombox lol. Forever Freestyle!
Wait a minute. That person who left coments named (Jabvel) your C-bank? I dont believe it but anyway I dont know how I never heard it before. I am guessing during that time period you were over shadow by Jackson/Modona/ and the rockers. I dont know I was too young back then.
As for your comment about never hearing "it" before ...sorry I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I'm assuming you mean you never heard the song before? Can you please explain.
Wow I ve never talked to a famous musican before. Anyway what I meant was that i am young and was in elementry school when your music came out. Also I didnt live in a massively large city now so I doubt you toured in tampa.
I guess what I am saying is back then it was harder to find stuff since there was barely even cable tv and radio stations in my area that played your kind of music. I was too young.
Hi RB Jr., what a pleasure it is to still be able to hear your music. I LOVED C-Bank, I grew up in the 80's and clubbed hard to One Moe Shot in Philly, N.J., Baltimore, D.C. this song was and still is the joint!! I'd love it if you guys went on tour with a few groups from that time, I'd pay to see you guys perform as I am sure many would do!! Thanks for great music!!
Oh my good, The Library was the spot!!!!!!!!! You can't imagine how much I miss those times. You are so right about the beautiful women in Philly, I happen to be 1 of them (smile)!! So what's up, no touring plans in the near future????
You should get together. I have a promoter from Chicago, who have been looking and asking me for C-Bank . Maybe he can hook something up. Let me know.
Maybe there is no video of the ORIGINAL C BANK with the fabulous Jenny Burton doing the vocals However for all of us who were lucky enough to see them perform at the LEGENDARY FUNHOUSE IN NYC IT IS FOREVER IN OUR MINDS AND MEMORIES. Jenny Burton had a presence that was second to none!
I remember my friend from waaay back asking me: did you hear the song with the breaking glass? I said huh, wow what a great song, I was blown away when I finally did hear it and love it to this day!
Well that's cool enough since you made the songs! I loved the songs made and wish you guys could have made more or try to reunite! You act like it was a bad time in your life! Think of all the people you had out there dancing to Your Music! It's a Classic!
i guess it is a classic...but still it was a bad time. will always be. i enjoyed working with jenny and patti...thats all. i left all that behind in NY. i have been lucky. i live well. i travel the world. so it is all good now. just wanted to give my two cents....... take care, Ray Bennett jr
Mr. Bennett I'm the "C-Bank" in this video. We met years ago in "1018". After my performance you approached me in the "VIP" room. I was so happy to meet you. I asked you what did "C-Bank" mean, and you said it had somthing to do the C note or the C key on your keyboard. Remember? Anyway...I just want you to know I always gave you and Jenny credit, and the people I came intouch with knew I was not the first or the original.
Ray, after the C-Bank days,I worked with Carlos Berrios from AfterDark/Priority Records. That kept me busy for a while. Then i I got married had 2 boys, became an RDH, and presently in the studio with Carlos again. Nice talking with you.
Despite your bitterness, the music lives on in people. Life is full of ups and downs. Its all in the approach. Others who were in similar situations have learned to take advantage of the music, whether it be through suing the companies that ripped them off, or to tour and make money that way. There is an 80s revival that you can bank on. Good luck with whatever you do.
Then if you are Ray Bennett, The keyboard player. Where's the video of the real C-Bank. Because this was the only performance I caught or saw of C-Bank.
Also to add to this reply. You are right with the names of the singers of the group CBank. But, Like I said before...Never got to see the original group. But this IS a live performance I recorded at L'Amour East 20 yrs back. The Only one I saw of CBANK!
Yes...I cut it up in pieces. So you have "Perfect", "One More Shot" and I do believe there is more. But to big for me to put on You Tube. AS for this particular song...that was all of One More Shot that she sung.
Ive never seen Jenny but this one's voice sounds just like her. I believe 100% it her. She's bad.

babyray7jr 3 years ago
i'm honored to talk to a original c-bank member. one more shot was excellent. but that girl isnt jenny is it. do you still talk with her.
mic187x2 3 years ago
the original group was Jenny Burton/Ray Bennett Jr./ Patti Darcy
that group was together for 2 years.
jenny left to play solo artist.
i left because the record company people were mafia criminals and i thought i should move on.
patti went to start doing Broadway stuff.
I went to europe, cananda, now Japan Producing artists outside america for the past 10 years.
babyray7jr 3 years ago
Next Platau had many versions of cbank...they were never able to capture the level of the original group.
but for what they had to do it did not call for rocket a scientist.
babyray7jr 3 years ago
Do you ever plan to come to NY...
I would love to meet with you and Jenny one day.
No, I'm not a rocket scientist , but I am a good vocalist.
