  • jung frech holländisch ^^

  • Any how, just like feeding Mogwie after dark, Don't feed salamanders thier own the turn evil. Mogwie From old horor film Gremlins

  • Better be cairful with so many in a tank, if one eats one of the smaller or weaker ones it will change it's hormone balance and become Alph type killing and eating all the others then grow to twice it's normal size and develope a differant head structure.

  • @tw1stedgrudge Sand is a perfectly safe substrate for cynops species in general. no threat of impaction and i have seen them in sandy puddles overseas.

  • they live in sandy waters. My friend has observed them in the wild. I have them on sand for years now without any problem.

  • In the USA we can't get live bloodworms, only frozen. That sucks.

  • The specimen walking along the tank wall at 0:05 is amazing! I have never seen that coloration in Cynops.

  • what temp do u use, i heard to not use heaters, but u must have your air conditioning on alot? i read they like temps to 40-68F

  • Oh wow! How many do you have in total and how big is your tank?

  • The sand is no problem at all. I have them in this way for years now. The reason I use sand is that I saw habitatpictures with sand everywhere...

  • @robkeulers i totally agree with you as you see in the vid there eating blood worm with a touck of sand ...use ethier large stones or pebbles dude there eating sand trust me itll kill em or shorten there life span

  • you shouldn't have sand as a substrate because the newts can swallow it, and well you try swallowing sand...lol

  • don't you think there is sand in nature too?

  • maybe throw a few flat rocks in there on top of sand so there not always eating on sand. damn thats a bunch of newts

    cool

  • They live in muddy water....

  • sand is not good for newts

  • It doesnt hurt them

  • don't (!!!!) put fish with newts.. bad idea

  • There a lot of diferents newt here, can you tell me there species?

  • Like I said before in the comments, 100% cynops ensicauda popei, but some of them are very dark

  • Uau there are great, look mi videos I have cynops orientalis and others species of anphibians

  • I wish we had live bloodworms in the States. Do they have blackworms in europe?

  • what are they eating?

  • How much do they cost and where ? Check out my newt and frog vids !

  • Fish with newts is generally not a good idea!

  • there are 100% cynops orientalis in the tank too. i think there are more orientalis than popei

  • No, you are wrong. They are all cynops ensicauda popei. Some with less specklings than others, but all cynops ensicauda. I keep newts for years and I know what I'm saying. I disslike the fact that you tend to know it better by seeing just 1 short video

  • well when you think so.... but i still bet there are lot of cynops orientalis in it...

  • pfffffffffffffff wise-ass

  • No, I'm sure its cynops ensicauda popei, 100%

  • how do you know if its male or not?

  • By the lenght of it's tail. Females have much longer tails than the males. But this only works for cynops ensicauda popei
