They have special suits and shoes that repulse the water, so if you run relly fast the feet don't have the time to sink.

@LeGrosWinnie i have seen it in a german tv show called "Galileo" where they do so called "Fake Checks". They always sink at the same point at the water. You must have a speed of at least 142km/h to run over water, the shoes are unimportant.
