Man, I absolutely LOVE CM....but some of the comments are ridiculous. Making great music doesn't absolve someone from their mistakes and vices. Nor does it put them on a level above being human. As far as all the difficulties Mingus and others endured....that's what challenged them and pushed them to greatness.
