You are fantastic my friend. I'm a pianist and I've played this piece with a violinist. I much prefer cello for Rachmaninov's Vocalise.

You also played Faure's 'Elegie' and the 'Allegro Appassionato' by Saint-Saens. I performed those for my last exam, but now that i've sort of finished with them, i want to experiment with different pieces. I'm into the technical work of the Allegro App. but also the passionate fervour of the elegie. What other pieces would you recommend?

i'm doing this song for solo ensemble. it is Class A but not because of the hardness of the song(it's not that hard to read) but because of the epression you have to put in and the mood of how you play and that's what makes this song hard and that's what makes this song Class A

Vocalise, a beautiful song. I also have the song from Yo-yo ma playing with Bobby Mcfaron (not spelled right I don't think). I also played it in high school also. You play beautifully.

Dear cello jourey i must thank your for uploading high class performances. Some people on youtube might think lightly of performing and make a lot of mistakes. Tough i haven't played the songs myself and can't or heard other recordings of most of them. I can tell that you perform them very nicely. I would recommend everybody on youtube to not take performing lightly and be more perfectionistic as you.

This is absoluetly gorgeous! This is undoubtedly one of my favorites...even though I have throughly enjoyed each and every one of the videos. I believe Yo-Yo Ma played this song with Bobby McFerrin for his album "Hush."
