i dont play ibuki but here's my cents. u2 has 10 frame startup, so what do you expect really lol, also makoto had inputted the karakusa before you inputted so it was accept she would grab you. a;sp. deviljin, pretty much all ultras beat grabs and hits for free, its just that no one ever point blank ultras, it's always in a combo or off a setup etc. :P
@xXRamza126Xx I generally expect my ultras to land if the other guy is doing anything but blocking , just from experience with other characters really. If I had baited makoto like that with cammy and ultra 1ed her I highly doubt the same thing would have happened :p But yeah I understand why it happened, the makoto player, unlucky for me just so happened input her grab randomly and it got me , which led to a really funny moment, but I landed my bait later on a good few times.
@TheREALSisko i don't know much about ibuki in this game so specifics in my argument you can pretty much render void lol. but ya i get what you mean. afaik its mad slow
Ibuki's ultra 2 has shitty priority. Mainly because it has other strengths like being completely projectile invincible. If the ultra also beat out attacks and grabs for free it would be ridiculous. It already punishes a ton of stuff on block and can be comboed into off anything.
@DevilJin01 cheers for the input man, I appreciate your support for your fellow ibuki players. Yeah the vids just meant to be funny really , not saying U2 is useless or anything , tis annoying alright though when this stuff happens. I'm sure I'll have many more 'FUUUUUUUUU' moments before I'm fully used to knowing when it will not work. :D
