hey chevy's still fairly new in the diesel game they haven't had all the years to perfect the art like the other two. but really its just what a person likes if you get right down to it there's not a way big difference between them all

Accutally look it up on google dmax engines completley melted and burst in flames doing a 6 mile race with 10,000 lbs on the back. it came in dead last out of all the tests they did! sorry boys but the japinesse dont know how to make good diesels
Iam not trying to cut any dmax guys down here so dont get the rong impression but ford and dodge are the 2 leaders of diesel trucks or just trucks in general! iam not saying dmax is bad there great but stock statistics show there third fords 2 and dodge takes the lead
Guys help me pass the word. Drag racing takes multiple dial in runs to figure out your index. These 2 trucks have completely different dail in times ad this wasn't a race but figuring out what class to run in. To run these trucks in a real race, the Dmax would have had an early green light on the tree to make them equal. The distance the Ford put on the Dmax shows this. It's like this. If the Ford ran a 13.0 sec dial in and the Dmax ran a 14.0 Sec dial in then the Ford delay would be 1 sec.

i'm suprised chevy didn't brake tie rod or cv shaft but i guess it is on the pavement. i own a 04 chevy duramax biggest piece of shit to much to list here, if you want to konw what wrong with chevys, ask me and i'll be glad to tell you why chevys suck
ive gotta 97 silverado 350 ci, and its had a few minor problems but nothing i couldnt fix myself, and my neighbors gotta 87 chevy 1500 with 350,000 miles on it, chevys are beasts imo
Then maybe you should sell it and start driving your Ford. If you want a rough riding truck then by all means run a solid front axle. Most of us Duramax owners know that the weak link in the front is the tie-rod sleeves but once replaced with a Cognito or sleeves made by others then the problem is solved.
And to all of you who think this was a real race...it wasn't. The Ford has a completely different dial-in time and a real race would have been much different. This Dmax has less mods.
