this is the scene. I remember he's quiet for all of two minutes, ignoring her as she rambles on about everything from new business mechanisms, household appliances to feeding new family dog Annabelle...then it all leads up...Tracy is banished '93...but she didn't agree to ALL Jenny's terms for ya....that's the Tracy I loved over the years...This would be Lewis final shows(didn't realize he got a little chunkier towards the end) and Jane Elliot's July 29, `1996 return

Boy, Mr. Lewis did get big. I think he did pass away soon after.

@lukesotherlaura yeah I noticed he got pudgy. Even upon his return in 1991 when he felt better he looked good but by mid to late summer 92, early '93 his appearances on the show were sporadic(twice a month) He got bigger and disheartened. Yeah even though he lived another 7 or 8 years this was the eve of destruction. I don't think he took great care of himself. The man was older than dirt besotted with health problems but look at Phil Carey(p 1)

@MrsLukesotherlaura I will hand it to year, for all those years Geary drink and smoke, he has always had a fit body. Amsterdam probably fits him well.(Did he even take his annual vacation this summer) I heard he almost lost Tracy. I actually like them two together...or to put it mildly Geary and Elliot worked well together. Just couldn't ever understand Laura. She should've stayed with the Vining's all them years ago.

@entertainme3000 Well, that's where you and I differ. I loved Luke and Laura. Miss them terribly. Tony is in Amsterdam now and yes probably does him good when he goes. Good chemistry with Ms. Elliot but not as great as Ms. Francis. Thanks for the opinion though.

@MrsLukesotherlaura I'm gonna look for a '96 appearance where Tracy has recently came to town to vote on a project. Her night is not good coz "Eddie" will make an appearance at the outback(her and Lucy, still not happy to see one another!) Then Luke re-introduces himself and for once Ms. Q is speechless(cat got your tongue Tracy!) I don't know how well they knew each other since Luke's botched attempt to murder her senator husband all them years ago. Then Bill and Tracy's interaction Jensbro lol

@lukesotherlaura pt 2 look at Phil Carey he looked good for his age all tall and lean and he almost made it to 83(which isn't really that old if you look at some but still alright) Eric Braeden't almost 70 but he looks awful and has looked old since 42(yeah he aged quick women are just stupid) Jimmy Mitchell was the most handsome he made it to nearly 90.

My gosh I just can't help but notice how much weight David Lewis (Edward) has put on in these clips. Was this when his health was taking a turn for the worst?

He had been ill for a while already. In fact, Edward had been "dead" for a couple of years and was only just recently found alive by Anna in the Caribbean. David Lewis left the show soon after this storyline if not right after.

Yes I liked him the best. Tracy has a right to feel jilted by her family. She was betrayed and a victim of a fake marriage. WHo wouldn't be angry. The family has a hellof a nerve. Alan murdered and stalked along with the other crimes of the family.

Alan has killed TWO men nearly killed 5 men and his wife 20 different times over the years, raped his wife, assaulted Lucy Coe, physically and emotionally abusive to Susie Moore, that she almost dropped into a rat fink drinking herself into oblivion. the man was a loose cannon, Edward, AJ and their crimes, Ned Monica even Jenny. Jason, don't even go there. Even Dillon and Emily at times.
