This movie is for the weak minded. Look at 1:33 . To even begin to believe that the population of Europe was large enough during the "dark ages" to sustain loosing 1,000,000, to executions much less 100,000,000 people shows a complete lack of any grounding in early medieval history! For 0:26, bibles had to be copied by hand before Gutenberg in the 1450s, and the vast majority of the population was illiterate anyway. Gutenberg, who made bible printing possible was Catholic BTW
@ihaveadesk1 Thank you bro for pointing out the misrepresentation of this video. I came out of the Baptist church and we didn't even go this far off and I was a very anti Catholic but if I would have seen this video I would have been Catholic long before 2000 because it would make me research this videos claims. If anyone believes this they are the kind of people that would believe Jim Jones and would have drunk that cool-aid with poison or Burned alive in Wasco Texas.
The fact that the Roman Papacy carried out an Inqusition from the 13th-19th century where it's estimated that tens of millions were slaughtered? The Roman Papacy admits to slaughtering two or three thousand. Isn't one enough? Or believes the fact the Roman Antichrist carried out Crusades in the name of Christianity? Jim Jones was a Jesuit in disguise. A Papist wolf. How an you be a saved Christian when you condone murder? Romanism = Babylonianism.
@Islandretreat Lets see how much of your claims are real OK Bro, Your history of the Inquisition is just off (1480-1834) and its called the Spanish Inquisition but at that time the Church and state were so close that if you attacked one you attack both. Yes there were many errors on both sides and some members of the Church did go to far but that was not how it was suppose to be. If I went to your Church and passed rosary's, How long do you think I can do that before someone points me out?

@CATHOLICFORLIFE2000, If you believe the Inquisition began in 1480 then maybe you need to do a bit more research before you comment. It began with Pope Innocent III and it never ended. The Jesuits created the Third Reich, Czechoslovakian Protestants were the first to be thrown into the gas chambers at Auschwitz. Pope John Paul II was working for IG Farben supplying them with Zyklon-B cyanide gas. Romanists call him "his holiness" but he was a wicked sinner SAITH THE LORD.
@Islandretreat Bro the 2nd charge you made does not make one ounce of sense because that there not that many people living in france at one point now killing one is to many but you have to understand that abuses do happen all over and Yes look at the Church today with priest and kids but that does not prove the Church is false, It is the teachings that makes a Church true or False. Let say one person from your church goes out and kills people, Does that prove your church wrong?

@Islandretreat About Jim Jones being a Jesuit well I'm not going to respond to than, I think if people want to know if he was a Jesuit in disguise that they should see for themselves and listen to how much hate one man can have towers a Church or what they are (Catholics) the race he hated. Baptist and most protestants agreed with slavery yet they are not told about that. Do you know how many people are killed by slave owners? Can you please tell me what church you go to? thanks God bless you.
@CATHOLICFORLIFE2000 "...the Vatican planned the infamous Jonestown massacre in Guyana in 1978. Jim Jones was a Jesuit under that secret oath with instructions from Rome to commit mass murder in order to discredit Christian camps. According to Alberto, "The cry went up that politicians should pass laws forbidding groups from setting up retreats. This way, Bible believers would have to hide when the great wave of persecution from Rome begins."--Ex Jesuit Alberto Rivera.
@Islandretreat The Vatican planed the Jim Jones trace thing you said was so far off its not even worth answering because you comment was from Alberto Rivera a Guy who Claims to be a Catholic Priest then a Jesuit well don't take from me google Alberto Rivera or look on YouTube about him and his false testimony by non Catholics that investigated him. if you don't believe that well do more sereach about him and the truth will set you free. con
@Islandretreat I still have all the Jack Chick booklets on my shelf and since I'm sure you read them too let me ask you a question. HE claims to leave the Church in 1957 but on youtube he says 1963 why two different dates? In his book Alberto story (he is crying next to his mother grave) He claim that they were treated bad by the Catholic Church and the Last rite was demonic and felt angry and talked bad about thew Catholic but still became a priest.. WHAT? DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? God bless.
No but I do know it was Protestant nations who abolished slavery long before popish nations, and were sending ships to patrol the African coast to stop the slave-trade [which began with Roman Catholic Christopher Columbus]. And I also know the Vatican officiallly supported slavery up until 1917, and was involved in slavery in their Irish laundries right up until the 1980's.
Why would anybody attend Church when Jesuits have infiltrated Protestantism? I'm Presbyterian. We have Roman Catholic wolves preaching from our pulpits, preaching a false gospel, all the Protestant Churches have joined Rome's Ecumenical Movement--the National Council and World Council of Churches.
@Islandretreat have you been reading Jack Chick? I use to read those books and John fox book too and that is where you might may you false information. about the Inquisition is historical fact and why have you not mention about Protestants that killed Catholics and burned Catholic bibles? Oh maybe that does not interested you right so you don't want to hear it. It was not the "Catholic church who started an Inquisition but it was God Himself" is he evil to you now? Read the bible!! God bless.
@ihaveadesk1, "to believe that the population of Europe..."
The end of the Dark Ages officially begins with the end of the Thirty Years War (orchestrated by the Jesuits) and Germany lost 10 million of its people. You are the one with no European understanding of history.
it's not the catholic church who murdered the Christians... it's actually the emperors of Rome mostly Caesars who command of destroying christian faith because they were PAGANS... and during those times, there is no temple/church for christian faith until CONSTANTINE ruled the Roman Empire....
Not true, this is a very ignorant description of the catholic church, please reread your history book and talk with people who are catholics. The crucified Jesus is to remind us of his sorrowful passion to cleans us of our sins, not to install fear. Get educated instead of blaspheme.
@Seraphimofextasy Point is, some celebrate the abnegation of responsibility for their acts (He died so I get a clean slate) V a true celebration of LIVING God, the persepective that celebrates Life, His stories, teachings, wanderings, experiences, who LIVE in this way and receive the call to be ALIVE, rather than dwell on WHAT THIS DEATH does for you, after Romans and Jews together killed Him. Just fyi, for others, RCC can feel like a death cult, nothing personal. all by rote, very dour
Also, just because he died for us does not mean we only have to obey. We must follow in the footsteps of Jesus. And, that bent cross is NOT a symbol of the true church. For the last 50 years or so an imposter has been pope. Bennidict is a heretic and he is should not be considered catholic because he has committed apostacy after apostacy and tainted the church. He will pay when he faces the Lord on judgement day. You really need to pick up a book on this stuff. You are very ignorant about it
The reason we use the cross with Jesus on it is to remind us that Jesus, our Lord God and Saviour, paid for our sins with his life and his blood. I don't know where you get your information from but it is skewed and twisted. If you want to know the truth don't go to hate sites but try the bible or a credible agency.
When I see the symbol of the crucified Jesus I feel anything but fear. I feel the love He must have had for man to be willing to go through that and having done nothing wrong. When I watched this video, I felt sorry for the writer because I could tell he is angry and affraid of something he doesn't understand.
...Do you have any idea what the inquisition is.. .I mean dont tell me your one of the few who believe that millions died during this time.. That would be impossible. The inquisition was against the evil pagans and wicked peoples who dared defile the book God through self interpretation and sorcery.
this is typical anti-catholic ignorance. i agree that the catholic church has it's dirty laundry. but you make alot of weak unfounded assumptions. and you ask why 170 nations have diplomatic relations with the Holy See? There are 1 billion catholics in the world so wouldn't countries what to have connections to the church that means so much to their people. and the church wishes world peace.
metallica47123 what does scripture say about following what the world desires? Does the scripture not say that broad is the way to destruction seems as if a church had so many followers around the world you would wonder about that church from just that one scripture. Narrow is the way and few find it. Dig into the catholic roots it's babylonian and pegan practices and find the truth. COME OUT OF HER because Jesus loves you wishes you to do so.
True followers of Christ imitate the way He lived. Just because a person claims to be Christian doesn't mean they are. It doesn't matter what religion you are. You are a Christian when you share the unconditional love for ALL human beings as you would be willing to give your life to save them. That is the narrow path few will find. Being selfish is the wide path.
While it is true that Jesus died as a sacrifice for sin & that (of itself) the crucifix should be an innocent symbol - you are correct that it has been turned into a medium of control.
Jesus was tortured & killed by the collusion of church/state. That is the essence of Mammon. He turned their symbol of spiritual triumph against them (cross) as a sign of victory over them.
JESUS NEVER EXISTED,ITS JUST A MITH.
WAKE UP,PEOPLE.EVEN IF YOU DONT BELIEVE IT.
YOU ARE BORN COMPLETELY FREE.
ENJOY IT!

You make some interesting points....
While it is true that Jesus died as a sacrifice for sin & that (of itself) the crucifix should be an innocent symbol - you are correct that it has been turned into a medium of control.
Jesus was tortured & killed by the collusion of church/state. That is the essence of Mammon. He turned their symbol of spiritual triumph against them (cross) as a sign of victory over them.
...but they have inverted it, as you suggest....
19lfm12 2 years ago
What is interesting is that there are some 170 nations which have diplomatic relations with the Holy See.
Note: I did not say 'with the Vatican City State" (the nation); with the Holy See.
The Holy See is defined as both: a) the office of the Papacy & b) the pope himself.
Why would they do this? What do have to gain from this relationship? With a single man?
There is more to this then meets the eye.....
