  • Good film good song all round!!!

  • This song reminds me of the Bond of Love Between a man & woman. There is nothing more precious than a Heart Felt Love of a man & woman. Two people walking together for a life time. Best friends looking into each others eyes, getting those warm feelings, that you can not live without this person. Knowing each others vulnerabilities, never exploting them, but ever so carefully protecting them. Giving of oneself fully to the other with no strings attached & " No Explanation". GSS

  • @someguy111222 Thanks.. I have to buy the cd now.. :-)

  • Beautiful underplayed song during a time of both professional and personal transisition for the great Chicago Frontman!!! Although of course it describes when Julia Roberts leaves Richard Gere near the end of the film they do get back together at the grand finale it also has a personal meaning although Peter Cetera never commented it!!! Back in 1990 his longtime romance and marriage to his daughter Claire's Mother Diane Nini was coming to an end and he had to be thinking about that while singing

  • Just envolved in a similar story hee in L.A. - Story began in Hollwood last week - See what happens . . . Sometimes a movie becomes real life!

  • does anyone know the meaning behind this song I'm confused on waht it's truly about

  • It's Chicago 20 No Explination

  • I'm so going to sing this moving song at MK4U 2011 next July and on Valentine's Day 2011.

  • love this song...cried every time i hear it...remember my love...left me with no explanations...still hurting...love him still...

  • The ladies love Cetera. You love the ladies. So by default, you love Peter Cetera.

  • this is the movie after which I truly started appreciating long legs. beautiful movie. enjoyed every moment.

  • I can't get enough of this song.....It's almost flawless and fit with the movie perfectly. :) It's so uplifting.

  • This is... almost.... Cetera's finest ballad! Such a nice song with beautiful passages. Just listen to 3:03 to 3:29, classy!

  • @Wachenfeldt I totally agree with you :)

  • omg i love this song

  • this song makes me cry. :,)

  • All time favorite

  • @tazzdread mine too

  • Why didn't this get more airplay? I've never heard this before. Truly a Cetera masterpiece.

  • Beautiful song from a movie I still never get tired of watching!:)

  • I can't explain what i feel now ; loneliness , fear to be alone.

I don't know where are you my love:)

  • @onmoz i have learning disablites and nobody wants me cause my problems becomes a problem when everyone want beautiful guys or women im like can't i be loved

  • Első gyermekem neve ebből a filmből ered: VIVIEN. Már 19 éves lesz!

  • It has the classic Cetra sound from his solitude solitare.

  • Nice song...It was in 1992 I think. I have to recognize that the song is beautiful but the movie is a pure fiction. Don't dream it's over!!

  • It was in 1990, exactly 20 years ago today (March 23rd)

  • Gosto muito do filme Uma Linda Mulher assim como também da sua trilha sonora. Ele me faz sonhar!

  • Preciosa

  • ¡Magnífica canción.....!!!! GRUMPA562...

  • beautiful song and film!

  • Who are the backing vocals in this song? Is Joseph Williams also fills his voice in this song? Because I heard it seems like Joseph's solo voice during the chorus saying "Take It" in the background, if you pay attention to it. I'm sure that additional backup voice is Joseph Williams, ex-member of Toto who replaces Bobby Kimball and Fergie Frederiksen.

  • I'm not hearing any voice but Pete's. But he a/o his producers do layer his voice quite a bit..great, rarely played song.

  • No, I mean the backing vocalists. They may not be credited but i'm sure it's not just Peter Cetera who done the backups. From the characteristics I believe they might be Bill Champlin from Chicago, or Kenny Cetera. But let's hear it again in the chorus part, when it comes to "I give you everything I had, I didn't know that you would take it", there is an additional solo whispering in "take it" part. And i think the solo whispering seemed like Joseph Williams voice.

  • I listened close, just not catching it. It just sounds like his voice layered with himself to me. I realize Cetera/Chicago/Toto/Bobby Caldwell travel in same circles. But I feel because of Cetera's habit of harmonizing over his tracks and his perfectionist ego, he would tend to do just backgrounds for others. Perhaps as my father used to say, "We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

  • Well, okay. This is just a feeling of myself anyway.

  • nice :)
