  • please tell me i didn't go home with borgnine!

writing and delivery worthy of the original mst3k. and that's not a compliment i pay easily. nicely done.

  • Jokes are good but the movie is so quiet compared to your riffs.

    -Mr.B.Natural

  • Yeah, the levels were corrected for the final version (and the 15 minute sample).

    Thanks for watching, Mr. B!

  • So what was the point of the diamond being stolen in the beginning?

  • Welcome To UzFakeistan!

    JJ Walker, Mercenary!

  • there are some actual actors in this movie! *shocked*

"Welcome to the roast of Desmond Tutu"

"Trained in the ancient art of looking..."

    "Welcome to Cleveland" lol

  • Good catch on the captain of the Southern Sun from Space Mutiny. Looks like a great Riff.

  • The captain of the Southern Sun was that guy out of bonanza wasn't he? with a stupid santa beard glued on.

  • No, Santa was the commander. The Captain was the guy with the buzzed hairdo. And while Cameron Mitchell was a guest star on Bonanza, he wasn't Lorne Green who played in the Original Battlestar Galactica. In case you are mistaking them for each other.

  • I have a mental picture of "santa" guy in all black clothes in some western series. was it high chaparral or something then?

  • He did guest star on Bonanza.

  • "I believe in opposite marriage"

    FANTASTIC!!

  • He had me at "Screenplay compiled from 'Air Wolf' fan fiction."

  • How in the world did a movie released in 1990 end up in the public domain? I thought, in general, very, very few films created post 1964 or so have ended up in the public domain? Can you share the story behind the copyright status on this one?

  • His name is Josh, not Google, son.

  • I Google'd it already and found nothing other than a mention of it being released into the public domain on the film's Wikipedia entry, and this mention was listed as uncited information. I figure since Josh is doing a riff on it, and mentions it's public domain status on his video description, then he'd be my best bet for learning more about this. As somebody who's been doing a lot of copyright status and public domain status research lately, I can tellyou Google often is no help in such things

  • "How in the world did a movie released in 1990 end up in the public domain?"

I assume the owners gave up the copyright.

  • I would assume the same thing, as I can't really think of any other way it would happen. Still, this isn't a common occurrence as far as I know, and I'd like to know if there's a story behind it or anything.

  • The copyright owners where to embarrassed to tell anyone they paid money for this movie I expect.

  • The guy who shoots them with the dart gun...wasn't he in "City Limits"?

  • Movie audio is way too low. I'll fix that before the release.

  • Thanks. Was my only complaint. Great stuff like usual, man. I laughed quite loudly.

  • Awesome. Love your work, Josh.

I'll need to pick this up at Riffrax once it's ready.

  • BDSM jokes FTW!

I never cease to be amazed at what kind of jokes such a nice Christian boy like you makes.

  • "Not so fast, Lobster Boy!"

OMG, it IS Lobster Boy! Hehehe...

Great job, Josh! Can't wait to see the finished product!

  • Oh snap, you took on Laser Mission. I didn't think anyone would want to take that one on.
