Quick Man is one of the hardest Robot Masters. Ranking up there with Shadow Man in difficulty and Dust Man in the *Pain in the Ass* category.

I HATED Quick Man's Stage, but since I was one of those people who could destroy AirMan with the Megabuster, I never had trouble getting Air Shooter, Crash Bombs, and in turn, the Quick Boomerangs, which got me the Metal Blades, which THEN got me the Flash Stopper.

@taloscal - dude I know EXACTLY what you mean. His level was a bitch but the music made you wanna keep playing it. It takes precise timing of flashmans power to get passed those damn lasers. Infuriating but good times.

Head adornments can at least be explained in that GL's is a semicircle, meant to be like an old samurai helmet.

Overall, it seems rather unlikely. I guess I can see some resemblance in the Quick!Giant Robo near the end, But I doubt they would've based GL off of a random fanwork, and it's even more of a stretch to say it's based even somewhat off quickman, considering the number of other things it drew from in it's own genre (mecha, rather than just scifi).

How about Viewtiful Joe? Red spandex, chevron head emblem, speed-based powers (Mach Speed, Slow). I think they said it was on purpose.

And while we're on "Robot Master Lookalikes," Mega's creator specifically stated that Elecman is based off of X-Men's "Wolverine." That's pretty badass.

yeah. He is hard as hell even with a few E cans he can just stomp on you.

That is one reason why i like him. He is hard and serves a challenge to megaman 2. His stage is hard(or moderate) without the Flash stopper.
