  • I am absolutely positive I saw her alive on July 13th in the old B.town A&P No one would listen to me. Too bad. I was hypmotized by police, but it was at least a year later and it didn't work.

  • Rest in peace, sweetheart. I remember reading about you in a Reader's Digest article, and still keep you in my heart and thoughts.

I never thought they would catch the Green River Killer, but they did. One day, they will identify you and catch your murderer as well!

  • Very sad,i cannot believe nobody report her missing!she is somebody daughter!..:(

  • thinks my uncle had something to do with this

  • @MotleyMolly If you think someone in your family had something to with this murder I would advise that you contact the Blairstown Police Department or the Detective whose name is on the top comments. The case is still open and from what I have read he is the lead investigator.

  • @Changetheplanet2010 My sister's namus profile is # 8051, I can't post a link as a comment. Look for her as Judith Erin O'Donnell and you will find lots of stuff. xox

  • My sister, Judy O'Donnell is listed as one of the possibilities. She was last seen on 11/30/1980. Her height doesn't match Princess Doe (Judy is 5'10") and her tonsils / adenoids have been removed (princess' are still intact).

My heart breaks for this young girl. And, as the sister of a young woman long missing, heartfelt THANK YOU to the kind strangers who have taken such good care of Princess Doe xox

  • @mysanchezfamily Is your sister in NAMUS yet? I didnt find her profile. I hope you find answers. I also thought your tonsils and adenoids could grow back in rare instances?

  • @Changetheplanet2010 My sister's namus profile is # 8051, I can't post a link as a comment. Look for her as Judith Erin O'Donnell and you will find lots of stuff. xox

  • @mysanchezfamily I've seen your sister's case, online, did the police ever get any dentals back?

  • I have lived in Blairstown my whole life and was shocked and saddened to learn about this girl.

  • I hate to state the obvious, but the clothes look more like something a lady not a teen would wear. Specifically Kathleen Durst. I can totally picture her in that outfit!

  • what a beautiful girl...didn't deserve to die and go unnamed

  • On the website for princess doe it lists tens of possible matches but for some reason no one has been able to rule them out?

  • Is her dna is namus?

  • Where is her murderer? Where are the murderers of all these unknown people, and I mean especially the women and children? From what dark holes, and under what rocks do they(you) live? It just really makes me wonder.

  • I'll bet ya a million bucks she was a runaway who left a dad who was probably molesting and/or beating her (it's almost ALWAYS the dad), prostituting herself to make a living and murdered by a client or john. One of the tragic repercussions of Reagan era hypocrisy, police who could've prevented this back then were probably too busy exploring that 80's fantasy of gay molestation rings and Satanic ritual abuse.

  • I wish they could get her info on the Oprah show. It may or may not get her identified but it would certainly help immensely with all of the other 40,000 John and Jane Does in this country.

  • @Changetheplanet2010 I wonder why/how they chose the names "John" and "Jane" or the last name "Doe." That's kinda funny and weird. Doe is a female deer.

  • @xbearcanrockx John Doe was used back in England doe being spelled Doo. of course americans probably had to americanize the spelling. The names are used as simple place holders. They use the same unknown names time and time again to keep things fluid and constant in the justice system. Another common place holder name is Roe such as Roe v Wade.

  • @Changetheplanet2010 I guess that kind of makes sense... Giving them names probably sounds better and more respectful than calling them "random guy" or "random girl" followed by whatever case number :P

What about the "Princess" part ? I don't get that...

  • @xbearcanrockx Princess came from the lead detective on the case he called his daughter Princess at the time. He did not want her to just be another Jane Doe number 100,101,102 etc. He wanted to show that even though she may not have been cared for in life she is in death. I believe the detective's daughter has since passed away in the intervening 25+ years but Im not sure.

  • @Changetheplanet2010 yeah I guess that is a pretty good point. It's nice to know that someone cares, even if they can't really do much. I know they at least try their best, or they convince you that they have .. haha.

  • God bless her

  • It would seem the family were involved (hence, perhaps, the need for her to be unidentifiable?). It seems strange that no one else who may have known her would come forward though. If not, the only other plausible theory I can think of is that she was a teenage runaway whose disappearance was reported - the police failing to make a link between two cases - or she ran away and it was ignored by a negligent family.

    Anway, RIP.

  • it isnt u!

  • she was dead 30 yrs ago

  • It's almost been thirty years since he body was discovered.

  • Nobody came forward to claim her so most likely her family did this. No question about it

  • @xtinabeba it was probably easier to commit crimes and beat people to a pulp back then because they didn't have the advanced technology back then that we have today. it's kinda disturbing to think anyone would do that to the ones they were supposed to care for. I saw this other video based only on kids/children who were beaten/murdered by family or foster parents. it was disgusting

  • My heart breaks for this girl and for all victims of this type of violence. We are the only species on this planet that kills our own kind for pleasure. Psychopaths are incapable of feeling anything other than regret that they were caught. Perhaps if we learn to be kinder to one another we can avert another Princess Doe and she will not have died in vain. God Bless.

  • Sometimes the word is not enough! Rest in peace little girl!

  • I read in an update in weird nj that they had an id a young girl from new york who was beaten by her boyfriend they took DNA to.

  • That's false. As of November 2009, Princess Doe has yet to be identified. God Bless her forever. I hope they find her killer soon so she can rest in peace.

  • Yeah it was an update in Weird NJ #14 page 54 go read it.But yeah there isnt an OFFICIAL id yet.

  • There has to be way to find her id. With all the new DNA tech out there, there has to be some sort of match. Even if they take a DNA sample and run it through find a match to a 3rd cousin in jail or something, at least it's a start.....Yes, I watch wayyyyyy to much CSI. -.-;;

  • To a Young Soul known only as Princess Doe -- We don't know who you are, but God does, and He will do what is right for you ... KWH

  • rip princess i hope we find the person who did this to u we love u xo

  • how could she have never been known like were are her parents.or family...

  • werent there any missing persons reports?

  • you know, unfortuantly, when there are no missing reports from family , its the family that has done this to them.

  • whoever you are, we hope you rest in peace. may God bless you. And for the good people taking the time to find out who this poor girl was, and who killed her, we wish you the best of luck.

  • Its sad that you cant even think to walk out into the woods without the possibility of finding a battered person laying dead somewhere. Kinda makes you think before you go out to the woods. best of luck on finding the low life who done this, may he get his in the end 10 times over

  • Maybe a victim of child abuse?

  • To a young lady known only as Princess Doe -- We don't know who you are, but GOD does, and HE will do what is right for you. -- KWH

  • Thank you for viewing this video and thank you for your supportive comments. Lt. Speirs

  • And you're sick in the head & need to see a shrink ASAP! Your little "joke" isn't even funny!

  • Thanks for the info, I will be contacting you soon. Lt. Speirs

  • I will be contacting you soon unknownkilla, thanks for the info...Lt. Speirs

  • Thanks again for the info unknownkilla, but if you really killed her you would know that her name wasn't Jane Brown. Nice try....I'll be seeing you soon...

  • Hey Gmancrap I prefer to be called an idiot in person so you and your friend unknownkilla are welcome to come see me anytime regarding Princess Doe: Detective Lieutenant Stephen B. Speirs, Jr. Warren County Procesutor's Office 413 2nd Street Court House Belvidere, New Jersey 07823. Meanwhile I will continue to investigate anyone who claims responsibility for killing this girl, even if it turns out to be a pathetic twisted joke.

  • @research4mats I wish you the best in your investigation. I'm looking into this case as well as another Jane Doe out of Caledonia NY.

  • What the hell is wrong with you people?! "Unkownkilla" must have mental problems if he even thinks his little "jokes" are funny! What kind of person would sit there & call a dead girl a skank & confess that he killed her?! UNBELIEVABLE! "Gmancrap" is a moron for even sticking up for this poor excuse for a human being! (I'm betting it's the same person with multiple Youtube accounts!) Anyway, Lt. Speirs, I hope you find out who killed this poor girl. She deserves justice & respect.

  • And also, if there's ever anything I can do to help your investigation, feel free to contact me here on Youtube, Lt. Speirs. Thanks for trying to help Princess Doe.

  • Very moving video. I had never heard of Princess Doe until I saw your video. Why didn't her parents ever step forward to identify her? This makes me so sad. The poor girl died all alone & her family never knew what happened to their daughter. I couldn't even imagine losing a child & then not claiming the body! Very tragic situation. I hope this girl has found her peace. God bless her always. :(

  • God bless her.

  • I am so touched by her, Thank You for posting this video.

  • incredible. ive been up all night on the doe network and the charley project. what upsets me the most is she and so many like her dont correspond to anyone who's been reported missing.

  • At least God knows who she is.

  • I forgot to tell you - excellent video and very moving. May Princess Doe's soul eternally enjoy bliss in heaven and may God avenege her blood.

  • I have to admit - this broguht me to tears. It makes me sick to know that this child had her life taken so young as the hands of some animal. If I ever make enough money to give to charity - the NCMEC will be one that I will contribute generously to. There is no justification for anything like this to happen to a family - to lose a child like this. I hope someday we'll be able to say this is a thing of the past.

  • A very nice video. I hope one day someone will come forward and say they know this person. Hopefully she will one day have a name. Someone out there knows who she is. Please come forward if you do. No one deserves to stay unidentified.

  • Thank you so much. Maybe she is looking down from Heaven and she knows she wasn't forgotten. She was someone's daughter or someone's sister. Maybe someone's pain will have closure when they find out where she is.

  • What a beautiful video. I hope she can be identified!

  • This is a great video and I liked the style! Bravo!

  • What a heart rendering story. Princess Doe must not have been from the area she was found. Hopefully this will be seen by the right person, and Princess Doe can be truely put to rest. Best of luck to you.

  • Sis, this is beautiful. I am so proud of you.

  • Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, .........couldn't have done better myself. Hopefully this can bring closure to this case and to her family who is out there waiting for answers.

  • You really did a wonderful job putting this together. I hope it gets her case out there.

  • Great job I hope this helps shed some new light on this case!

  • Very well done "Princess Doe". I hope it proves to help solve the case. I can tell you have put quite a bit of work into it, as it shows. Good luck on this case!

  • Great work at putting this video together....it was VERY WELL done!!!!
