  • That is what really make Android cool, because of this.

  • GET'''A.;:FREE.';DROID`:;PHONE,;,

  • G(.)(.)gle is watching you..

  • i like copy and paste

  • Did it do face detection?

  • i found it amusing that he seemed to be letting people know that this has copy and paste, unlike another certain phone :P

  • this guy sounds like major nelson from microsoft lol

  • FINALLY... Now kick on the nuts of the ASSHOLES at apple :-D...

.. those bastards were acting tough not giving us the most basic "COPY-PASTE".. and now Google has just BITCH-SLAPPED them :-D..

ooohh.. I can see apple fan "boys" weeping :-D..

  • Nobody supports flash??!!

Nokia's webkit browser has been FULLY supporting FLASH for more than a year, now.

Opera 9.5 for Windows Mobile fully supports flash, and there are many demo videos on youtube to prove it.

    Skyfire supports flash AND silverlight.

...and iPhone is rumored to be receiving it's flash support anytime now.

  • not fully only flash light noob

  • D-Uh... by flash support everyone knows i mean flashlite 3... n00b.

and yeah, still Android's browser doesn't even support flashlite 3.... mkay?

  • sure everyone knows that...

but even if it doesn't, wouldn't the android's open-architecture make it easy to give it a flashlite plugin?

  • As pointed out Nokia is in flashlite. Opera Mobile 9.5 is still beta and also flashlite.

Skyfire support is done server side. Hopefully when the iPhone and Android flash support comes, it will be full Flash 9 (which I think is what rensjex is arguing) like on the Nokia 800/810.

BTW Apple also called their browser the "full web experience" from the start and they don't have flash either. Keep in mind Flash in the end is still a (popular) third party plugin & it is not part of the web standard.

  • looks grea....wait and see

  • You don't get to call it "Full Web Experience" if it doesn't support flash. Sorry.

And the scrolling is STILL not as smooth as the iPhone's Safari. Why??

  • u got a point.. nobody supports flash though ..

  • Yeah, wow... looks great!

Not as fancy as the apples iphone safari, but i really like it!

What phones can you get this on?

    G1? iPhone?

  • this is bundled with the Android OS, it's not a downloadable application and G1 is the only phone (for now) equiped with Android OS

  • this is for G1 ... I like the zooming a lot better on this phone... that multi touch thing is stupid ...

  • I would like know if we can download it for phones with linux OS

  • YOu will probably be able to.. .people hacked it into a nokia phone... already... the thing is google really doesn't care much about that.. they think the most phones with android .. the better..

  • i would prefer android over win mobile and the i phone because its open source like and actual desktop that means more choices for the consumer yeah its still a little ruff around the edges but its still very impressive

  • With Android you can do whatever you'd like because it an open source and support both C and J2ME, not like the restrictions of IPhone that force you to install OSX in order to develop for it.

  • ima buy it just couse my iphone fuks up like crasy with the drop calls

  • from what i've seen so far (OS wise), i think iphone's OS is a big joke, you're hearing this from a person who has an iphone

  • i thought i was hearing this from a stupid person.

  • Woot Android is Linux base, that means no more lock like windows mobile. Too bad it's a HTC phone. All of HTC phones i used(3) had very short battery life. Maybe Android OS will perform better than the power and resource hogger windows mobile.

P.S. This phone will rock and at least its not over rated like the iphone. This is coming from a Mac Book pro and Iphone owner/user. $400 & contract for g1 iphone sigh.

  • I just hope Google remains an innovator and Open Source company rather... than... Um... Microsoft and Apple and their DRM Lock-down manias.

  • looking forward to this my contract with verizon is about to end :) i think...o.o

  • lol its about time, somthing good to come for t mobile i can see y other people are mad. I have t mobile and i think all their phones suck and if i could change i would. I am the only one out of all my friends that still have t mobile and now they are all crying because they are coming out with this. :)

  • iPhone is better but this has a lower price...

But the thing is how the guy was adding icon to contacts its so much easier on a iPhone all u do is go to the contact click on add add a pic or take a photo and ur done so much easier GO IPHONE 3G 8GB BLACK! $199 roflmao

    lolomgwtgdairyqueenlolomgbbthg

  • Hey whats up? Great quick question is this available on any phone yet if not do you guys know when it will be? its seems to me it was running on a unlocked IPhone is this true? well keep up the great work can't wait to see final version I'll ttyl

    Peace!

  • this is the Tmobile G1, aka HTC Dream, aka Google Phone

  • yeah man thanks I figured it out after I posted the comment lol

  • looking forward 2 see accelerometer in action... if it has one :S

  • Seriously... when will Verizon get a good phone with wireless built in?

  • Really T-Mobile what the freaking hell?!?!?! Does anyone even have T-Mobile. Nice to see that Verizon once again doesn't have a single good phone, and lets everyone else get the sick phones.
