Thanks for uploading. I met the 'Great Bird of the Galaxy' several years ago and it was sad to note that he passed away on 24th October 1991 - my 21st Birthday!

Never had the opportunity to meet him myself, but I can proudly say that I've had a couple of opportunities to hang out with his son, "Rod" Roddenberry Jr., and I was able to take a picture with Majel back in 1994. As I was converting this video to digital format, watching Marina recall Gene's death and the fact that it was on the same day as her own father's death 10 years earlier brought a tear to my eye as she tried not to lose it on camera.

@PieFights - Hi, I had a friend who was very pally with Rick Berman and got to meet Gene through him back in the late eighties. A really charming man and very intelligent. Also met Bill Shatner in Savannah in 1996 at a Trek do at the national guard armoury and the cast of TNG at the premiere of 'First Contact' also in 1996. All the stars were very approachable and chatty.
