Hal's writing and singing are like no other, and I don't think anyone can ever surpass his gift of singing and storytelling. Hope he comes back on tour again.

His one of a kind voice never leaves my heart. Saw him in Albany NY. Unbelievable. Fits no genre-just great songs. What a writer. His "Waiting for Redemption" CD was one of the albums that helped me get thru the months after 9/11. Remembering that today.
Thanks for your message. I very often do browse the internet for country- music. It gives a lot to me. Unfortunately not too many people here in germany are country music fans :-( . But I have been a hardcore- fan for 18 years now :-).

Hal's a fine songwriter but this particular song was written by the late, great Stephen Bruton...
