You could add Drill to the video (though it was a VERY promising game, the maker dropped out - very disappointing), and that other newer Homebrew shooter - Dux, Karous and Triggerheart also! The Dreamcast is an awesome system! Can't wait until I have the ability to play the full backlog of Japanese 360 shooters!
@andy7666 I didn't think dux was as good to match up to the other shooters... but Fast Striker is definitely worth an add, and Sturmwind looks very promising

Er, not so original! ^_^ I don't like piracy but 4 dead systems who cares, unless its a new re-release/homebrew etc (Last Hope Pink Bullets for example - I'd buy, not copy that). Got a Saturn for the same reason & simmilarily have a mix, the PS2 has some great CAVE games - the 360 is the shmup system of choice at the mo - thanks CAVE 4 making Mushi & ESP 2 region free! More please!
i have most of this games for dreamcast but i wanna get the imports like boarder down ,under defeat, trigger, heart exeleca for pc but i dont know anything about downloading and then having to extract i dont know where the files go or what i have to do with them
@rodsormen1 ok i can get you all of those imports for dc i have an video up abou extracting files if neccesary ill put another one up. as for image links i can provide you those as well message me back (there are also some verry nice games that were not official)
@rodsormen1 The PC have some AMAZING homebrew shooters - look for the "Doujin Reclaimation" site (think thats the name) - it has every PC shooter/fighter on there.. My old PC died and the piece of shit I currently use couldn't run even the most simple of these. There are pretty much all the games there for free download - the Japanese companies/individuals who make these games shoot themselves in the foot by having the sites all in Japanese so Westerners have no idea how to pay for the games..
@andy7666 Great comment ,i wish your comment was on the front page of famitsu magzine,perhaps japanese compaines would get a clue,imo most western gamers have sold out to big budget games with grafics,don't get me wrong, some of those games are gems but most are overhyped crap that are pumped out over and over with endless sequals,i blame shmup fans most off all and underground gamers we refuse to voice are thoughts,people spammed cave and we got some region free cave shmups
@MikeStutzzzz I remember when Border Down came out I ruled that game, man I lost all my shump skills now, after like 5 years without playing shumps I couldn't get trough the 3rd level of Border Down :( hardass game..
