the video was made from the beta, where we weren't able to see the full potential of the graphics engine, because of the safe mode the server was running, now they are better.

pretty hard to make it work with this card dude, it is a very low-end graphic card (as I found out from a little search in google) so don't expect to run the game there. And as far as I know, to play games in laptop is short of trouble, since the laptop's graphic cards are cut out versions of the desktop ones. Sorry :(

I don't think it's different enough from every other MMORPG that's come out in the past few years to make enough people support it. It's very Vanguard-ish, and we all know how well that's gone.

With the features this game has, it's very LITTLE like any other MMORPG.... ships, ship combat, mounted combat, free loot,clan city building/sieging. Conquest alone gives it much more to do than any MMO I've seen.  You get to level 60, 40, 80, whatever, then you just try to get epic gear you can loot. In this game, equipment cannot be repaired, your shit can be jacked, you have to AIM to shoot, Unlike AC they are gonna smack down macros, cheats, people get away with it now cuz it's beta

also as a game style it is more close to morrowind and similar games, that's why I believe it is so great and different from the others.

Agreed, the gameplay itself, battle etc. seems like a slightly improved version of how battle works in morrowind and oblivion. Doesn't have near the graphics of oblivion, but it doesn't need to to be a much better game! I love the graphics in their own style, still better than other MMO's newayz. They usually look like cartoons, which is neat for awhile. My first thought when looking at Darkfall originally was like a MMO morrowind, except they add city building, ships, etc. etc. etc.!!!!!!

Well the video and the pictures I posted are from the beta, and as far as I know, we play in safe mode, server and clients, so the graphics will be even betters.

One way or another they work very well, they are not the latest in graphics, but they do the job right.

They atmosphere feeling is amazing, I have stared to sunsets and dawns, watched the morning gaze and the fog of a rainy day, and damn, it felt so good, so real, like you are in the game.

It is a long time since last time I felt that.
