Eddie might not be as technically good as either Buckethead or Herman, but he practically invented shredding, and if it weren't for him, neither Buckethead or Herman would be playing the way that they do today.

Poor choice of vid/song for Buckethead. IMO he is far more versatile and a better writer than the other two. Mrs Beasely, Soothsayer, Jordan, Plastination Station, Botnus and the list goes on. Close to 300 projects in the span of a decade. He is in my top three favs of guitarist.
@honorablecbm - agreed - the time BH had with GNR is probably the worst time of BH's career. He is far better off with them. And there are thousands of videos on YouTube far better than this one that is far more representative of BH than this one.
Buckethead has amazing skill and talent, but it just doesn't sound good to me. My vote (from what was played in this video) would have to go to Van Halen. Herman Li's spot on here was so short that it shouldn't have even been included.

Buckethead has amazing skill and talent, but it just doesn't sound good to me. My vote (from what was played in this video) would have to go to Van Halen. Herman Li's spot on here was so short that it shouldn't have even been included.

Several reasons why I prefer Buckethead!
First of all he can make any kind of music which I can listen too no matter what kind of mood I am in!
Secondly he has made so many songs and is still making tons of songs that you will always find something new and fresh!
For those who think Buckethead is just a crazy fast shredder then listen to the albums: "Population Override", "Colma", "Electric Tears" and some more!
