  • A beautiful documentary... Proud to be a B.O.I, a Galvestonian at heart. Galvestonians are very strong, and have a lot of faith. I miss the wonderful people and the close knit community in the island. My heart will always be in Galveston.

  • Hey HST... looks like you have a pretty solid product coming out here.

I assume you guys are working with a severely restricted budget, and I know you don't have all the time in the world to just work on this project, but I hope you give at least some recognition to the many other communities that were destroyed by Ike's storm surge (Seabrook, Bolivar, Shoreacres, etc.).

Your teacher has done something you will all appreciate and remember forever... good luck at the premiere tonight.

  • PUT ME IN THE CREDITS MR.WIESS!!!!! YOU KNOW WHO THIS!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH......ha

  • i live in Houston, and it wasn't all that bad..it was like 1 week without light, and there was little food, that's all.

  • :(

lots of people in galveston had to completely re-do their homes, and had to live in hotels for months. it had a big psychological impact on all of us...

not to mention the bolivar...go to the bolivar...it's heart breaking.

  • i agree mei. :( btw this is lauren.

  • yea well i live in htown too and it was like 2 weeks w/o electricity here

  • @bdassvids you were oblivious to the devastating impact it had on Galveston, Bolivar, and the other coastal areas!

  • Hurricane Ike

    "Prepare Yourself"

  • wow red car parking was the best drift in the entire video. Look at the precision alignment they parked in too. Getting it "close" is easy, but having them all evenly spaced, aligned, and equidistant from the curb is... well... impressive at least.

  • my video has way more views than yours and yet, mine aint fucking featured??

  • cff
