are these comments really from phulgari? first time such a heart touching remarks and such flawless remarks. I m feeling my self like Asha ji as when some time I cant find suitable english words then I started in my native language, some lot of my comments in urdu becuase i couldnt find suitable english words and riz khan or phuli not with me to dictate.
I think this was a superb interview and it was fine to do it in English as that way it would have reached a broader audience and I feel Asha ji's English was good. Her singing is of course the class act....
I agree. AlJazeera, it is clear that Asha Bhosle is a very intelligent woman who has a very strong sense of rationality behind her actions. You should interview such people in their native language and provide subtitles. Don't compromise on content just to make an English language show. I would have loved to listen to Ashaji talk comfortably in Hindi.
