  • To all those dissing her singing:

go tell that to her face. She's voiced by a real person who's singing this. Someone I happen to look up to and admire. I do do not take kindly to her being insulted.

Don't say such cruel things about someone's voice, it only makes you look bad. and heartless. and an asshole. :3 have a nice day <3

  • I think Makoto sings wonderfully in this song up to a certain point. She delivers powerful notes, and an extremely strong chorus. But at the most emotional, powerful part of the song, the high note, she delivers it really weakly, so it was a bit of a disappointment. I mean, it isn't really in her range, so I guess we can't really blame her, but still. It is what it is, and I wish it were a bit better.

  • Makoto sounds lovely in both this song and Kosmos, Cosmos, imo. <3

  • she almost sounds better then azusa when she sings hearing them both still makes you wanna cry T.T knowing the lyrics is even worse waaa.....

  • This song is my favorite one makato sings :)

  • Poor Makoto! This song is so high she has to whisper. That's why I like deeper songs like Agent Yoru for her.

  • Absolutely beautiful as expected, I'm glad her voice doesn't go too high on some parts like some other girls! Makoto is one of the best to sing this song along with Azusa and Chihaya, it should be a version with the three of them singing like they did with 9:02 pm and Aoi Tori!

  • I really love makoto on this song, and even though it sounds a bit weird, her voice is just like mine. We can both go deep, when we go higher, our voices become softer, and then it's like two different pitches. Also, I give great thumbs to Makoto on this song, cause this is a really diffucult song.

  • Yeh,, Makoto has a beautiful voice!! She can sing very good,, I wish I had a low voice as her... xx

  • I love Makoto and she could have done really well on this song. It's decent up until 1;14 or so, then she starts alternating between soft and strong too much and it's just weird.

  • Makoto has to be my second favorite idol. She sings this song good, and even though her voice faults in places, and she's trying to sound very soft, I still love it. It gives it a uniqueness. I still like Miki's version of this song, though.. I also think Azusa's version is nice. The more mature characters tend to sing this better.

    Thanks for uploading. <3

  • ... I don't know why everyone's saying this sounds so bad. The first reaction I had when I saw this was "OMG MAKOTO!! *squee*". I, personally, think she's awesome at this song, and pretty much every other song in idolm@ster history.

  • im a guy and i swear i love it when makoto sings its soo nice...and i think she sings beautifully...its hard to sing with a deep voice when u need to sing a high note...i applaud makoto for this shes soo awsome...but hands down azusa is my favorite idol and makoto is my second

  • Makoto is my favourite idol, and my third favourite character ever, but the way she sings this is *terrible*. Absolutely horrid.

I love her deep voice. I love how she uses it to sing a lot of songs, but she should use it to her advantage, not try to sing in a way she obviously can't.

    >:

  • @SeiryuSuboshisan I love Makoto too. I don't think she sounds too bad in this song...Kosmos, Cosmos is worse.

  • @iDOLikutosama I prefer Kosmos, Cosmos. She sounds so hilariously excited to be singing Kosmos, Cosmos, and it's endearing.

This is just. IDK. My ears hurt. ):

  • i like how she sings this *cries* im so proud of her!!

  • Having Makoto sing this gave me chills.

  • I love it how she says it at 1:05! It so unique and different from the other girls!

  • Errr... Matoko s one of the best of the best!! But this song jusst wasnt made for her =[ her voice is cracking and this song doesnt allow her to belt out her voice =c

  • To an extent, I agree, she's not being as good as she could be. I half expected her to belt out the end bits, but instead she went soft as if trying to stop herself.

It was slightly disappointing, I admit.

But I still enjoy listening to it.

  • Mm. Her voice is cracking, she's not transitioning well between words and notes, she's randomly switching between very strong and very soft and she's not using her powerful voice to the full extent she should be.

If she were to stop trying so hard to sound feminine and soft, when her charm is in her powerful and mature voice, then all the above problems would not exist.

Sadly, haa... This is not the case.

    I am fully disappointed.

  • I'd also like to note that every word up to "ima oboeteiru" that isn't cracking is done very well, especially her "pain".

...This is a song she would usually excel at...

    *sigh*

  • I knooooww~ shes just no good at the big parts ,_,

  • I don't understand why your comment had so many thumbs down. You were being honest.

  • =w= sometimes the truth hurts xD

  • Fun fact: She's one of my all-time all-fandom favourites.

  • I like it until she sings 'ite' 1:32 because first she sings with a very strong and loud voice and by 'ite' she goes soft...

  • Another winner for Makoto!

  • Seems like she's confused on whether to be deep or not at the end a bit...

  • as i expected, makoto-chan sound great singing this song! <3 X3
