  • wow , i need the instrumental of this one!

  • I think these guys are great rappers, but they sample their music just a little too much for me. A lot of their stuff is practically direct copies and truthfully, its not THAT hard to write good lyrics. That's why they'll never get any bigger, unless they either turn fake and head towards mainstream, or turn truly independent and make their own beats that sample from across the board, cause that's what it means to be an "MC". Same with Common Market.

  • @akspartan92

If its not that hard to write good lyrics, why dont you do it?

  • if someone is gonna rap over this beat im glad it was geo and he killed it

  • Read the description of videos before you watch them, morons.

  • So if something is beautiful to begin with, it doesnt need to get better? Youre saying improvement is bad?

How do you know its "stolen"? What if they have an agreement? So what if it doesnt make it officially better? 8 people seem to agree with me. That makes us 9 times as many as you my little friend.

So my advice to you "bkitching1000" is to think before you write idiotic shit like that!

  • @1klol1 its just sampled, every rapper does this. They rap with their own flow to a beat or music produced by someone else. Hence the term "producer".

  • well firstly, its against the law to steal copyrighted music, that means its a crime... secondly it is your opinion if you think its better so that doesn't officially make it better. So my advice to you

"1klol1" is to think before you write idiotic shit like that!

  • @bkitching1000 they got the legal rights to use the beat!

my advice to you "bitching1000", is to know your shit before YOU write idiotic shit like that!

  • @bkitching1000

sampling is a huge part of hip-hop music. if u dont like hip-hop why are you even listening to this song?

  • I love how the use the intro From The XX

  • nice sample...I love the xx. the rest of Intro sucks anyways.

  • why is it a crime to make a song better?

  • @1klol1 a song doesn't need to be better if it was already beautiful to begin with.

  • You guys ripped off The XX, completely. This should be a crime :(

  • @alohasprinting shut up

  • what? this is the XX intro

  • Btw guys. this song is totally sampled from The XX's "Intro". The Blue Scholars has made nothing to this piece of music except the rap.

  • whats up with the description? is that like the lyrics to something?

  • @showan412 its, sabzi (the DJ's) sotry for how he came to choose the xx track

  • I like how they used an awesome beat, just to ruin it, fucking hate rap. HIP HOP and HEAVY METAL ALL DAY!

  • @E34FREE THIS GUY.

  • @E34FREE Who the hell are you?

  • @E34FREE THIS GUY!!!!.

  • What's the original soundtarck that they are using in this song?

  • @PhoenixRampage The XX - Intro

  • เพราะสาสๆ

  • Dustin Ackleys At Bat Song I Think! aha

  • @Kataleena it sure is!!

  • love the blue scholars but...this is intro by the xx

  • 3 Claps! Hiphop is livin!

  • What i like about Blue Scholars, is that they take and absoloutly amazing melody and do the most rape rap to it!

  • Good Song.

  • @undergroundhiphop101 nice looking out! I was just saying I love Sabzi overall stufff he created for common market and blue scholars : )

  • Is it possible to be in love with a song ?

  • If someone ever asks what hip hop is just say Blue Scholars. Or anything from Seattle.

  • clapped 6 times....

  • Much Respect from Tasmania! Australia!

  • 0:48 ''like a filipino watchin..boxing''

  • Is he a filipino ? i heard some of his songs related to philippines

  • @reallyflasshy Geo (The Vocals) is the son of Filipino immigrants.

  • As I wish the scholars get huge success, i do hope that they stay underground forever... its better that way

  • I love SAbzi!

  • @PRECIOUSBONDOC sabzi didnt produce it numbnuts, its intro from the xx

  • The XX.

  • This fucking ruins the beat....horrible will never return to this shit video

  • @KrayziSucks next time just make a silent exit :p

  • Gotta love The XX and Blue Scholars. So sick!

  • why isnt this on i tunes i went to buy it and was very dissapointed.

  • @MrLyrics28 its a leak from the up coming album Cinemetropolis

  • @lostboyzrambo801 I dont know for sure, but Im pretty sure its not on the album. you can get it off their website.

  • Love for the scholars from Minneapolis. Respect for Eyedea (RIP), Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Doomtree, and nameless other other artists whose talents aren't appreciated.

  • @Pins07 exactly. rhymsayers show love for seattle hip hop

  • Love livin in seattle. Blue Scholars, Common Market, Macklemore, Knowmads.

  • "peace to the fallen, here to the hope that these beats that im rockin is reachin your coffin"

  • i love this song, but what does this song even mean?

  • deep..

  • hip hop is dead,

only thing i can beleive in anymore is NW undergound

    much love to geo

  • Can't stop hitting replay...

  • Such a nice demonstration of dramatic buildup, big up for that.

  • Lets all give credit to this song to THE XX because they are the reason that this song sounds good. Blue Scholars got the WHOLE beat of this song from song 'Intro'...can rappers not create their own instrumentals?

  • @MisssGem

wtf. this is what hip hop is all about: sampling some good shit then making it even better by adding some powerful lyrics. additionally, Blue Scholars are actually helping the xx getting even more promotion by using one of their most powerful tunes. personally, I love the original track - but this right here is waaay more powerful simply due to the sheer lyrical skills of our beloved Scholars.

  • the instrumental is from The XX called Intro

  • What Album Is This From, Where Can I Find It?

  • Lol @ the description.

  • this band stole "intro" from the XX, I'm not saying this doesn't sound good, but seriously, does hip hop have to borrow from indie rock these days...?

  • @sammyboiify

Hip hop music has always sampled a broad range of genres, this is what makes hip hop so versatile and universally acceptable.

  • @affiliate383

Very true. I was just commenting because I was hopeful they would give credit to the artist from whom they got this sick beat.

  • wat is this backing tune ! i need to no!

  • @crinno94 the xx - intro

  • Ever since i went to seattle last summer , everthing i do or listen to seems to revolve around seattle?

Maby it did before .. or it's just a magic city (:

  • @silpudog80 True. Seattle has awesome music. That is why i love to live here.

  • PEACE TO THE FALLEN. HERES TO THE HOPE THATS THE BEATS THAT IM ROCKIN IS REACHIN YA COFFIN
