@SouthernBelleUSA First off, autumns don't wear lavenders, pale blues which could explain them washing you out. Autumns would wear deep plums, mustards, olives, and chocolate browns (think of the colours in the autumn time) to compliment their colouring. So, it's possible you were given the wrong information (which happens more often than not unfortunately), aren't an autumn, or are purchasing the wrong items. If you want, DM me and I'll give you my email. I'll try to give you the right colours.
Hello! If you're a warm type, why are you wearing white and silver as opposed to ivory and gold? Or are you a Bright Spring with more neutral coloring?
@antychan When doing a colour analysis you're supposed to wear a white drape (as it's neutral) - so I wore a white jacket to achieve the same affect so I could move the colours around on myself :) Otherwise, yes, I'd be wearing a cream or gold for sure as I'm a true spring :)
@personalpowerimage Sure, that makes sense! I'm a warm/true spring as well, BTW...very textbook. Even that off-white drape made me look rather awful. xD
@antychan lol that's because it's not your colour. If you're a true spring, your neutrals are warm light browns (think cinnamon and milk chocolate) and light creams. Whites of any kind never work.
@personalpowerimage LOL, I know. Color analysis is a bit of a hobby of mine; I sometimes do it for my mum's friends...had my colors done in 2003 - best 150€ I ever spent...to think, that through all my teenage years fashion "made" me wear baby blue...urgh. There's only one blue I look good in...and that's not even blue, it's light warm aqua. xD
I'm a male with a summer skin tone (or so I've been told). Brownish-blonde hair, light blue eyes, pale skin tone. What colors should I wear?
