Look at 1998-99 (the season after he left the Bulls and played with the Rockets)----15 ppg (NOT bad at all considering he was playing with Barkley AND Olajuwon instead of JUST Jordan) and made All NBA Defensive Team. But Pippen missed a lot of games that season like he did the year before with the Bulls.
Pippen never got the credit he deserved. People only remember his days playing for Houston and Portland. They forget that Pippen was a superstar before he injured his back winning the Bulls' last title. He was never the same after that injury. But before the injury, he was one BAD foul call away from taking the Bulls back to the NBA Finals after Jordan retired the first time. Jordan and Phil Jackson got all the credit for all the titles. Jordan could not do it without Scottie.

Pip was AWESOME you had the best and 2nd best players in the league those years on the same team.. Also Pippen was the 122nd highest paid player, then (grossly underpaid), and played through it all those years. He and Jordan SHUT-DOWN Toni kukoc in Barcelona when jerry krause was trying to sign him, and left Pippens contract in a state of flux. You don't do that to a player who was a big part of two titles at that time!!
