@Austinmaestro It's a character who's an absolutely appalling rapper, who's from a privileged background but makes out he's "street". Hence the swearing. If you were to watch an episode (and I'd recommend you do - it's brilliant, and I say this as a liberal Guardian-reading middle-aged man who avoids BBC Three in general) you might get it.

It might help to see one of Chris Lilley's prior works, as @Sward474 said. But I suspect you've made your mind up already.

@IrregularShed Amen to that description. I'm of an identical background and the basis of Lilley's work is astoundingly well accomplished if not totally original (Ali G etc).

His other characters are absorbing and his portrayal of them make it easy to believe that these are real people.

Kudos to him for making full length videos as well for virals. I honestly can say, hand on heart, that while I know Animal Zoo is a parody, it beats 90% of the shit music you get in the charts nowadays.

As for the swearing i just often think its the easy way out , but in context as in the character he is portraying it works .
