Vouchers don't work. Let's say a school fails and students have a choice to go to a different school. Well, what happens if the next nearest school is a half hour away? What happens if a school is so far away, parents can't afford the gas to drive their children to another school? Or the time it takes for a 15 yr old to get to the "unfailing" school takes time away from caring for his little brother? Or what if the private school doesn't accept everyone? Schools should be fixed, not nixed.

Having the government pay vouchers for underprivledged who want to attend private schools? What if ALL underprivledged want to attend private schools to get around underfunded, "failing" public schools?
