  • I've heard this song played with pipe & drum, fife & drum, the fiddle, etc. It just goes to show how many folk songs originated in Ireland and made their way over here. Anyways, this is a fantastic rendition.

  • I love this performance! We play along with this at home regularly, since my son is learning this piece.

  • wow... the best version of "the girl i left behind me" I've ever heard

    Greetings from Spain ^^

  • I wanted to be a fiddle player because I noticed that all the fiddle players smiled...this is one of the first tunes that I learned....thanks for another good performance...*s*

  • @savannahleigh100

    Thanks a lot "S"

The girls truely have a lot of fun when we get together and rehearse or just jam. They are a true delight to play music with, and all of us guys really know that they are the stars and we are just along for the ride! We are planning on shooting more videos in the Spring.

    Keep looking!

  • even before that. It's a 17th century song

  • Yes, it was known in this country by at least 1650. It's very very old.

  • This is great! I like playing this song, and the harmonies ya'll came up with are wonderful.

  • Great job on a very familiar tune! Greer & Bill, It's nice to be able to watch you perform from Michigan! cousin Carlene

  • Great job guys! (Especially my cousin Greg!) :)

  • Thanks for the kind words! Greg's a good one, and I am lucky to have him in my band! Shooting more, should have them up before too long!
