No way someone as cunning as the Zodiac who is so skilled at avoiding detection would be so stupid as to tell someone that he was going to kill these people.

DNA testing didn't exist at the time, but they had a primitive form of biological testing. Leigh is one of the great minds of our time, and my hero.

In NO WAY was this proof of ALA's innocence.
People hear 'DNA' and think that it's definitive. In this case it is not even close to being definitive.
leigh allen was always the suspect, the don cheney thing was there to provide a way for the forensic proof to not point to allen. They suggest that allen used cheney to unknowingly mail the letters. they allude that cheney hasn't come forward with this because he could get into trouble. That or Cheney was an accomplice
I'm quite confused as well. But I think that's what they were going for when they made this little documentary. The intrigue of the whole Zodiac subject is the mystery behind it. The fact that there's still no identity of the killer makes it all the more interesting.
