I used to make my own music on here too but seemed like it took forever to do. I also used the sample feature from cd's but you could only do little clips because it would take up all the dam space on those cheesy memory cards. Nice tune BTW
I just bought a PSone for $5.99 at a thrift store so I could play Music Generator again. I've had so much fun creating music on here, and now I'm doing it again. This is one of the best things to hit the PlayStation because it's replay is unlimited.
Great job. I've used some of those riff too. They sound cool. I like creating my songs from scratch, Though they don't always come out so great, I've made a few good sounding ones here and there.
I used a lot the 1:01 riff, combined with techno base and very very slowly, I changed the instrument though , the first one was the best Music Generator I still have 4 tapes I recorded around 1999
I just got thru trying to make a song on my MTV music generator..and totally have had it since it first came out in 2000 so im kinda outta idea's now, lol. these beats are usually faster, but i LOVE you how slowed them down. Very cool! :)
i guess u didn't go through the interface too well :-)
just go to the bottom of the screen, u will find 3 stacked icons on the left, 1 of them is related to the tempo of the riffs... that should do it for you ...

U need the original CD to play it, or as i did i downloaded it as image the burn it or mount is same.. look for the program through turents... its around 320 mbs..
